The service was incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived. We had to sit outside because the inside was full, but the cold weather paired perfectly with a good flat white and a hot chocolate. We ordered the omelette absolutely delicious, served with sourdough bread. We also tried another pastry that was just as good. The service was very fast and attentive the whole time. Highly recommended☕️

Probably the best omelette I’ve ever had! This tiny coffee shop was packed when we arrived, so we knew it would be good. The coffee and breakfast were delicious. Next time I would definitely get more of the sourdough and skip the croissant bun.

I stopped by this cozy little coffee shop and bakery for the first time today—and what a pleasant surprise! They have an amazing variety of cakes that look as good as they taste. I went for their recommendation: a cardamom iced latte (as an alternative to the dirty chai I was looking for) and it was absolutely lovely, even topped with a little sprig of rosemary—a perfect iced coffee for a warm day in Edinburgh. For my sweet treat, I chose an apricot and raspberry tart, which was not only beautiful but also incredibly delicious. The place itself feels very warm and welcoming, and the staff were just as friendly and kind. I’ll definitely be back! x

Ante is absolutely worth a visit. HIDDEN GEM! It’s a calm, beautiful space filled with passion, from the people to the plates. The rhubarb breakfast was vibrant and elegant, perfectly paired with their iced matcha and strawberry. The sourdough with cultured butter was simple but unforgettable, the kind of quality you can taste. An inspiring place where breakfast becomes something quietly special. We left full, happy, and already planning our return.

Everything was so nice. As soon as I got to the store, I knew I was in the right place. I was fascinated by the decor and the food. Flat white isn’t bitter but mellow. I also tried Barebones (tried Glasgow chocolate for the first time). It's not often I get a rich chocolate that's not sweet, cocoa flavored, but this is. Only one cup size is served, and cups are not very large, but these are designed and hand-made to be extremely suitable for grabbing, also warm hands up. The tender and unseasoned pork is mixed with salted and fried potatoes, a bowl is enough. The bar upstairs is also beautiful. I'll try it next time. I will be one of the regular customers.

Cute wee place to pop in for a coffee. We had a delicious decaf this afternoon sheltering from the snow. Staff friendly and nice clean toilets :)

We bought some cake and a pumpkin tartlet there which were amazingly delicious. The also offer real bread, not that boring fluffy toast you get everywhere else. Had a nice chat with the lady behind the counter, too. Highly recommended! We will come back for sure when we are in Edinburgh again.
