   First time I’ve visited the Cumbernauld branch and I was very impressed with how well the branch is set out . The staff are very friendly and helpful , and helped load the skirting boards and facings I’d bought .

   Hi we bought a new kitchen plus appliances from Howdens Cumbernauld 3years ago this may, All really good apart from our Lamona 50/50 refrigerator freezer we had problems with it defrosting before the 1st year , eventually yesterday they replaced it with a new one unfortunately Howdens doesn’t give another 3year warranty with the new appliance, I offered to pay for a new warranty but were refused!! As for getting the chance to extend to 5 years I was informed I should have applied 30 days before it expires !! It expires in May !! They also mentioned the fitter should’ve gave receipts we were given user instructions for all appliances that’s all , is there anything we can do ?

   Shocking branch. Dropped off skirting boards to ours weeks ago and were one board too short. Phoned them as the delivery driver sped off and was promising the additional board next day. Multiple calls and emails later, promises of a call back same day and we're still waiting. £75 for delivery and we couldn't finish the job. Can't even collect the board ourselves as it is 4.8m long. Still charged it to our account though.... Definitely won't use this branch again.

   Grim. 3 emails requesting someone to measure up for a kitchen. Got nowhere. 7 emails giving them a plan and practically doing the job for them and still nothing. Absolutely hopeless. Went to another branch and treated with professionalism and couldn't fault them. Avoid.

   Met up with John to finalise the plans for the kitchen. Nothing was any trouble for him. Anything we wanted to see, he found it for us. We made a few changes to the plan, again no problem. I will not hesitate in recommending Howdens in Cumbernauld. I was recommended them through a friend who got her kitchen done by them. Full marks, can't praise them enough.

   Literally decided to get my new kitchen just as lockdown hit but even in such awkward times Howdens were great. Very impressed with how the whole procedure went. Debbie who came to do my drawings was very friendly and knew exactly what I wanted. Very helpful in giving advice but not pushy at all. Delivery of my kitchen went very smoothly and even with a few issues that came up they were quickly and without hassle sorted. Thomas the depot manager was really helpful and when he said he would do something he did. My kitchen is not yet completely finished as I'm awaiting my counters but I'm loving it so far. Have already booked my joiner to use Howdens products again. Big thank you to Howdens Cumberland. Lynne & Calum
