Charlotte Gill was a star, nothing was too much to ask. She put so much effort into finding out perfect home and was creative with her problem solving. Will be going back to her if we ever change kitchen again!

I had a great experience with Magnet kitchens on Great Western Road. Both Kyle and Derek came up with a fabulous design and the fitter Greg did an amazing job. Communication was excellent throughout and I would highly recommend them.
Beyond disappointed with the service Magnet provided. Had some amazing initial designs working with an enthusiastic guy Davis, who left for a new job as soon as our kitchen was delivered, but from then on, had a terrible experience. Every step of the way was problematic, from the delivery driver smashing our hallway light (and not owning up to it), to their recommended fitter charging us extra £££ for a plasterer we thought was included in the cost, as well as claiming he would not be providing tiling as we'd been promised, and blaming Magnet for miscommunication - but then Magnet blaming HIM, so that there was no accountability and we were the ones left having to fill the gaps and fork out far more money, after 9 months of meticulous planning. Their recommended fitter also brought in other workmen who did a really shoddy job to the point that I had to hire extra people to finish it off - but when trying to resolve, again, Magnet insisted 'they don't recommended anyone' to cover their backs, when they'd HANDED US the business card and it was stuck to their pinboard when we first visited the showroom. If that's not recommending someone, I don't know what is (he also had no independent website or listing; he exclusively fits Magnet kitchens). I had emails as well to prove that Magnet had promised us things (such as the tiling being included in the cost) about said workman, only for the workman to say 'that's not true, I wouldn't have said that' - but as our contact had left, we had no leg to stand on. I tried to speak with the manager about all the various (costly and stressful) issues and was met with anger and dismissiveness. Once they had our money, they did not care a jot, nor did they want us to feel looked after or supported as clients which for such a reputable national brand left us shocked and feeling extremely let down. For context, the kitchen was delivered end of May and still wasn't completed by mid DECEMBER as their recommended workman couldn't be arsed to come and finish the job and fix a mistake he himself had made (and not noticed until I called him about it). To add insult to injury, the tray in the built-in freezer has cracked after only 9 months, and neither Magnet nor the AEG freezer company will cover the repair DESPITE US STILL BEING IN WARRANTY WITH BOTH OF THEM. Horrendous service, not a single sign of goodwill anywhere along the way. Wouldn't recommend Magnet to anyone after the continuous let-downs, as well as speaking to others who have had similar appalling experiences. I am giving 2 stars out of fairness, for the great chap we initially dealt with when designing the layout, and how nice the kitchen looks now the trauma is over (we sourced a lot of extra bits ourselves including the worktop). Overall though, v poor show and would not recommend.
We used Magnet on Great Western Road for our kitchen and had a great experience. We have a odd shaped kitchen and are on the top floor of a tenement building so it was a complex job, but from measuring up, to ripping out the old kitchen and installing the new one, they took care of everything and made the whole process totally painless. We felt that there was excellent communication throughout and had several meetings to go over our design and make any changes. Gerry and Derek both worked on our kitchen design and listened to everything that we wanted and gave us loads of options, and even came up with some really cool design ideas and additions that we hadn’t thought of. Derek even made sure to check in periodically during our installation to ensure everything was running smoothly. All the staff at the location were friendly and welcoming and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
These jokers can't even get their stores opening hour correct, turn up at 8 to be somewhere before work and they weren't open, person on the phone was 0 help "ill need to speak to the marketing team"
Really upset having planned to come on Sunday to great Western Road Magnet, only to travel a long journey to get there and find that even though online it says it is open until 5, the store was closed. Its ended up a wasted day for me as it was all planned around this trip. Update your online times if it has changed from your normal!!
Staff are really good, great product knowledge, no pushy sales patter or hard sell honest conversations on price points & quality.
