Terrible company to deal with , paid £129 upfront , engineer did come out next day , needed to order part ,which cost another £70 , couldn't then fix my washing machine for another 18 days , tried to cancel repair and get part refunded , wouldn't refund part and charged me another £50 to cancel . Cost me nearly £250 for nothing .

Awful company . I called with no issues engineer attended that day as a mum of boys thought great after paying £100 pounds thought great service. They promised at ease service not quams repair and fast .To good to be true yip it was I've waited nearly 3 weeks for a part that i then paid 90 pounds for . I WOULD BE QUICKER ORDERING THE PART FROM AMAZON. I've called daily as I have two boys and washing builds up no compasion no care cant refund . I stated my part must have been coming from China. They stated a problem with the delivery. I also stated that would have been cheaper buying a new washing machine .I can't believe how nieve I have been as a single mum trying to cut corners to save money have now had to fork out for a new machine.ive took this up with my bank and also taking it to the ombismon. HORRIBLE COMPANY.CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOCKING .PLZ PLZ GO WITH A REPRITABLE COMPANY .TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE .

Useless 3rd party allocator. Independant ngineer great..not his fault that GoAssist just want your money. Took 3 days to come out and then didn't have parts...won't use them again.

Worst experience ever, ordered an emergency service that supposed to be in 4 hours. They lure me in membership over the phone. 4 hours never happened and i end up with no boiler fixed for 5 days. Boiler repair quote end up higher then a purchase of a new boiler. Cancellation of membership cost me 50 pounds more +136 pound s over the phone upfront.

Paid £99 for an engineer to look at my extractor fan. At the same time I took out a warranty for 7.95 a month. Engineer said It would need a new motor. Go Assist has now told me it is uneconomical to repair. So tat must be the labour as I know I had to pay for any parts. It's a big scam. Have cancelled the DD but expect them to take another £50 for cancelling. Bank can't help. Appalling service.

Avoid at all cost, it's a scam and judging by the reviews I'm not the only one, they should be investigated. I called on Monday and got an appointment on Tuesday, I explained that I work full time and was told they would would give me an appointment at 4pm or after 4pm, I called before 2 pm to make sure it was going ahead and was told that unless I received a phone call from the engineer it was going ahead at that time, no one came, I called and explained that I had taken unpaid leave to be home and would like a refund , I was told to call back in the morning as that section was closed, called on Wednesday morning and was told I could not get a refund as the engineer came out, I had a message on Wednesday saying an appointment had been made for that day which I hadn't made and if I wanted to rearrange to call the engineer, I called him and he told me he didn't have an appointment for me ,that the appointment was for Tuesday,. When I asked him what time he was at my flat at he told me it wasn't him but he checked and the engineer had attended at 1.50pm and not at 4pm or after as I had arranged, I'm now out nearly £100 and have called 14 times my freezer is still broken. I would strongly advise people not to use them . A

Very poor service. Paid 129 call out fee to get a text to tell me I need to contact the office to ok the work needed done. With out anyone being at my house me not supplying oven model etc they wanted 120 to pay for a part. How can they charge this without seeing what it needed or a model number?? So I asked to move the booking 2 days I was told this was unavailable too unless I paid the 120 parts fee. Absolute joke Steer well clear of these scam artists Ok. How can the engineer tell what the item needed is and how much it will cost with out model number of appliance. After my shocking treatment from your company I had a local company come out and fixed the problem with a genuine Electrolux part for 24.99

Paid £129 for Go Assist to come and look at broken dishwasher. Engineer said parts needed to be ordered (at extra cost of £182.90), which was fine except I needed to know timescale due to being 37 weeks pregnant. Foolishly went ahead as assured everything would be fine. Chased ETA on parts a few times (flagging birth deadline), finally got date for engineer to come back. Engineer spent 5 minutes looking at machine then said it couldn’t be removed from kitchen units it was stuck fast, so he couldn’t complete door hinge repair. He said twice that if we managed to move it out then he’d return same day to complete repair. 10 minutes after he’d left my partner and I managed to wiggle it out of units, but the engineer and his boss have decided they can’t return until Friday (currently Monday and they know I’m due in hospital for baby delivery Thursday, therefore Friday isn't do-able). Have had to cut losses and buy a new dishwasher to ensure I’m not without over Christmas when I have a new baby. Spent £311.90 on about 10 minutes of engineers being here and doing nothing, have wasted weeks and had to buy a new machine. Thought fixing was the eco friendly option, but have had to buy new and I’m massively out of pocket during a cost of living crisis. Lucky Go Assist and their Glasgow subsidiary company have got a few hundred pounds without delivering any kind of service, though. Go Assist phoneline wait times have been 28 and 42 minutes, with rude staff when you do finally get through. I will potentially get a refund for parts (but only £137.50 - nowhere near even half) if the Glasgow engineers tell me that the parts are refundable – I’ve asked for evidence should they not be refundable, and to be delivered parts if they won’t do refund. I’m at their mercy though. Essentially I’ve been scammed and had money stolen from me – I’ve been given nothing in return for what I’ve paid for.

Scam. Do not use. £118 call out fee for a 20 second assessment of your appliance (where they make their money) and then will quote a repair cost that is higher than purchase value so that you will not proceed.
