   Absolutely heartbreaking! Poor and expensive delivery service. Got a fine mahogany coat hanger yesterday and the handle of the wee cabinet was intact. Guess what when it’s delivered to me it’s broken. When asked about resolutions, all they could tell me was have it collected again (which means I have to bear another £30 delivery charge) - no flexibility and creativity at all on settling different scenarios eg I would be happy with a partial refund on the item alone. Telephone customer service demonstrates a lack of empathy. I used to like your shop a lot… Please be careful when you pack historical furniture. If you cannot pack, deliver or deposit well, please do not sell antique pieces and make customers take the risk of having damaged items. I do not even where the handle is now and it’s arguably the thing that made me buy it. What a shame.

   I was served initially by Ella and then primarily by Michael. Michael was kind, friendly, helpful and provided great service. Though he's joined the team very recently, he's clearly an asset to the team. The rest of the staff I encountered during this visit were great as well. The store had a wide range of furniture and a good selection of appliances, paintings/pictures and some bric-a-brac which were reasonably priced. The table I picked up today was a bargain as it was reduced though I would have considered paying the original price if I had come across it sooner. Would be back and would definitely recommend this store if looking for any furniture

   I bought a sofa and got it delivered. I found the service excellent. They were extremely flexible with arranging my delivery. I got called to ensure that the delivery was happening. The drivers called before arriving and were jolly and helpful. Very pleased with the service provided from the staff at the counter to the delivery drivers. I would definitely recommend this store.

   Good selection of furniture at honest prices. The women who work here really are gems- going above and beyond to help! Having no tools bought, they gave me the correct tools needed to make up a box bed frame from the store room which was greatly appreciated and incredibly kind. Thank you! I’ll definitely be recommending.

   Offered a very expensive living room wall unit I obtained from Forest Furnishings and discussed over the phone with a very nice gentleman who knew exactly what I was talking about, but when the guys came to collect it, they refused! Obviously didn’t fancy carrying it downstairs! Yet, I see some people dropping off absolute and utter garbage flat pack stuff that comes from B&Q and should be in a dump! Waste of everyone’s time

   Back in 2018, done Voluntary work for 8 weeks... The staff were friendly and made me feel like part of the team. I am a quiet person mostly, but working with Sonya, Debbie and Lisa, they all helped me adjust to the busy shop's routine, Lisa was there for me to learn how to use their computer to print out price tickets and increased my confidence in talking to customers who visited the store. Learned more about Retail and Stock rotation / Replenishment! I really enjoyed my time there more, asking people if they needed help and advice on making a purchase, and showing them where the customer service desk was, so they can get information about the furniture and bric a brac they were interested in buying? I am more confident today, after Volunteering there... Thanks to The British Heart Foundation.
