   Went here for the first time today with my friend. It's a lovely little place. The menu is extensive, and the cakes - good lord - they are to die for. The customer service was fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. A true gem of a place. Clearly others thought so too as it was busy with a steady stream of customers. It does takeaway too! I took my husband home a buffalo chicken baguette, which he devoured. Will most definitely be back!

   Had a lovely breakfast with my friend today, portion size good. I felt the prices were reasonable and staff very friendly and attentive. Cakes looked amazing. Passed this coffe shop for years and didn't realise it was there. This won't be our only visit.

   Big menu. Great choices. Slightly overpriced but worth it. Latte a tad too milky but that's just a personal thing. Food very tasty. Cracking scones. Very friendly staff. Amazing how many people were there considering where it is.

   The best afternoon tea I've ever had and I've had a lot! All freshly made sandwiches, wraps, rolls, scones and cakes. You get loads of food and they box up anything you can't finish. The staff are lovely and friendly and go out of their way to make your visit a great experience. We were there with elderly relatives and they were very helpful and caring. I highly recommend the Mad Batter.

   As an Aussie its hard to find a decent coffee in the UK, but the coffee here is fantastic. Food was delicious and topped off with great friendly service. We had a solid set of choices in the menu and had a great affordable lunch here. The bathroom has a good quality change table and is child friendly :). Very impressed.
