Visited this morning and absolutely loved it! The food was great, and the location is so cute – full of charm. All the little antique items in the shop are adorable and add such a lovely touch. Service was great and the staff were lovely. A really nice option for afternoon tea!

We had been given a gift, so I dont know the cost. We had high tea and it was absolutely lovely. It was a little bit awkward to find and had to find parking space on the street. We had high tea and the sandwiches, scones and cakes were delicious and more than we could eat. but we were able to take home what we hadn't eaten. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. We would definitely recommend and will go back again.

I came as party of 8. When they say hidden teahouse they weren't joking, I thought I was going the wrong way ha ha, small but comfortable, we all ordered the mini tea, which came with 3 sandwiches, a scone with jam and cream and a pot of tea, the different tea pots were beautiful. The food was delicious, can't wait to go back again, staff very friendly, reasonably priced. I've told my 12 year old daughter and she wants to come with me next time, they also have a great selection of cakes but I was too full from mini tea to try a cake but I will be doing next time. Highly recommended this lovely local tea room, Well done to all the staff xx

As a regular customer, I feel this place has really gone down hill. The service is not as good on my last two visits (one for a family dinner, the other for coffee) the service was not good at all. I used to love going for dinner but on my visit my steak pie had been reheated and I couldn't eat the pastry. The service was extremely slow and the waitress, she was something else. Won't be going back, sorry but Carrigans is your new rival.

Well they're not kidding, this place is really hidden away (just trust Google maps) but inside it's a lot of fun, the food is first-rate, and the staff are really friendly (even to us tourists).

Came to try out as a Christmas gift for my mother. My granddaughter had the children’s afternoon tea which was good. My daughter had chicken and bacon sandwich on brown bread. She said it was good but pricey for what it was. I had the tomato and herb soup which was tepid but tasty. Brown bread and butter didn’t arrive until I’d finished and that was after reminding them I was waiting for it. Never did get the pepper. Disappointing. Been finished for over 20 minutes. No one has came near to clear up. Hopefully get the coffee and cake I want but not holding my breath. Won’t be back - shame really as could be good. Service badly lets it down.
