   Excellent coffee, great food and friendly service. Music though was too loud! I don't mind a bit of background music in a café, but today it was too much, we couldn't have a proper conversation, as we couldn't hear each other. I come here often and usually the music is not too bad, but today it was far too loud. I may have to go elsewhere in future. I rated this place five stars previously, but it has now dropped a star. Update on my last review. Music now at a tolerable level. However, hot chocolate had to be changed twice as it was not hot enough. The third one was better but still not hot. It's called a HOT chocolate for a reason! Don't think it would sell if it was called a lukewarm chocolate.

   My partner and I used to love coming here on dates, food was always great with good coffee. However last time we were there the server was point blank racist to my partner, refusing to look at him or acknowledge him making our order. I had to repeat our order for her to take it, despite my partner being a native English speaker. The food was so so and the coffee was meh, did not appreciate the service and staff went as far as to laugh at my partner speaking to me as we were having a conversation when our food arrived. Sadly will not be back.

   Had a great coffee and cake here with 2 relatively small children in tow. Coffee was excellent, I’ve been here a couple of times before (but not for a while) and it’s tasted great every time. I had a cappuccino, my dad had Americano and the girls had “babycinos”. The coffee is from Azzurro and a good homely blend, nothing too fancy but a good “hug in a mug”. One child had a cinnamon whirl which she liked so much I didn’t get to sample any, my dad and I had homemade empire biscuits (though the icing was a bit on the thick side I felt it added to the authenticity - my dad thought it was great!) and the other child had a gypsy cream. I couldn’t eat a whole one but the wee sample was nice! It’s a lovely environment, the staff are attentive and pleasant, service was quick and they’ve got WiFi. Definitely adding to the list and I’ll try and come in for breakfast/lunch sometime!

   Went for the first time for lunch. The place was busy and atmosphere was fine with some good music. The iced coffee was watery, however served quickly. The salami ciabatta had been lying and then toasted. One side was rock solid, the other was soggy. The pesto was so burnt it resembled tobacco. Now on to the show stopper…… I ordered a roll with bacon and potato scone. The roll itself was soggy and the bacon was dry, however quite crispy. The potato scone was inedible, it was rock solid however undercooked at the same time? Not sure how that is possible. The Nutella cannolis were average but ended being the best part. The service was not great, I overheard the young waiter being rude to the table next to us. The man had asked for milk to go with his latte and the waiter responded by saying “the latte is made the way it is supposed to be” and ignored their request. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend a visit.

   Stopped in for brunch, had the highland veg soup and cheese ham toasties. Nice cafe, good atmosphere and nice food. Toasties could have been a little hotter as they were luke warm but overall a good place to stop

   Visited here the other day with my mum and daughter,it's a very nice coffee shop,atmosphere and music was relaxing. Hot drinks were really good and a great selection of food and cakes.staff were smiley and friendly and the manager Michal is super nice and very welcoming. Will definitely be back.

   Had a nice cappuccino here. The place is set up really nice and seats by the window are lovely. I really enjoyed the music here and was able to get some work done on my computer without being bothered. The staff didn’t seem rude or anything, but not too friendly either. Would still come here again. P.S. SOY and Almond vegan milks are not free (all non-dairy milks are 50p)
