   Excellent little coffee shop. First time today. The flat white was short and spot on, not some big old milk fest like you get at Costa! Proper coffee here. There’s only a few tables; we bagged the last available one by the window and had a lovely time chatting and people watching out the window. The two baristas we dealt with were both professional, polite and brought our drinks over which was a canny little touch. I would definitely recommend and return when back in Glasgow.

   This cafe, near the GOMA, serves beans from Dak, Amsterdam. They only have limited seatings. I wanted to try the affogato, but they were out of ice cream sadly. However, I enjoyed the cup of flat white. It was smooth and had a delightful aroma of the coffee beans.

   On a typically wet Glasgow Saturday, I ducked into Laboratorio Espresso for a much-needed coffee stop. Tucked away on West Nile Street, it’s the kind of place that feels instantly welcoming the moment you step inside — warm, bright, and buzzing with quiet energy. I managed to snag a seat in the window (prime spot for people-watching on a rainy day) and ordered a flat white, along with a small sweet treat to keep it company. The coffee was spot on — smooth, rich, and balanced in a way that makes you appreciate just how much care goes into their craft. The sweet treat didn’t last long, but it was the perfect pairing. What I really liked, though, was the atmosphere. It’s not flashy or overdone, just stripped back, modern, and focused on what matters: great coffee and a space where you can actually sit, pause, and enjoy it. Laboratorio Espresso might call itself a “lab,” but the only experiments happening here are ones you actually want to taste. If you find yourself in Glasgow, rain or shine, it’s well worth stopping in.

   First time in Glasgow, of course I wanted to start my day with a great cup of coffee to give me a boost after traveling all the way from Edinburgh. Laboratorio is a unique name for a coffee shop. We were greeted by a wonderful staff and noticed that they were quite busy at the time we visited. The store is small, with seating both inside and outside. They also have pastries available, but we ended up just getting the coffee. I ordered an iced latte, which was probably a mistake because it was a bit diluted and the coffee flavour was weaker. My partner got the hot version, and it was much better because you could taste the beans more clearly. Overall, I was very satisfied with the coffee. Just a reminder to avoid the iced latte next time! Good service and great coffee!

   I visited Laboratorio Espresso because I'd heard great things about the coffee, and the name is fun! It's small, has a chill atmosphere, and service was quick and friendly. The coffee was delicious, but could have been hotter. It was slightly below ideal drinking temperature when served, so I had to drink it quickly. Had it been hotter, I'd easily give 5 stars.

   Great specialty coffee shop in central Glasgow. They have guest coffee beans from all over Europe (Kiss the Hippo from London was there when I came). Nothing much to say here, they have great coffee but limited food options. So come here for your coffee cravings.

   Wonderful little cafe for a great cup of coffee. The Cannolis are very crunchy, the filling can be a tiny bit lighter in sweetness will be perfect. The joy chocolate was very well balanced though. Creamy and light. Great place to drop by for a quick chat up. Busy place and seats are limited but staff are extremely nice and professional baristas for sure.

   This classy Italian cafe is amazing- design and class oozes from its presentation- and the coffee is a must- have. Only snag is the size of the place - but I guess we have to appreciate the finer things in life even when they are so small and precious. Love it

   A cute little cafe in central Glasgow. It’s usually crowded cause they’ve got great coffee/ hot chocolate and chai latte. The staff are super friendly and lovely and are really good at what they’re doing. The cafe is clean and neat.
