Anywhere that serves Modelo is generally a yes from me. Cool little spot. Nice drink selection. Staff were lovely. Birria taco with the consommé dipping sauce was excellent. Grilled, crunchy, cheesy, rich. Happy days. Fish taco a little underwhelming after the indulgence of the birria. Jerusalem artichoke dish was interesting and a bit different. Really enjoyed it. Corn ribs - bit oily Overall, a place I’d happily visit again. Would like to try some of their margaritas. Yet again, another great establishment on Preston Street - the best road for food on the south coast

We had the best time having dinner tonight with my mom. Everything was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend the corn omg, it was sooo tasty. They had a honey rib special today, which is a must try. Service was lovely, Alex was super smiley and helpful. Overall 10/10 experience

Halisco gave me a different experience with mexican food. The corn ribs were a unique taste, and the halloumi tacos were really good as well. A must-visit on your trip to Brighton! The place can get a little crowded and noisy with a lot of customers sitting inside, but that is something manageable when the food and service is great!

The food was amazing. Had the Lamb Ribs plate with the Beef Tacos and Pork Tacos. Everything tasted great, especially the Beef Tacos, but the prices quickly add up. You only get a spoonful of guacamole if you order it separately as an example. If it wasn't for the prices this place would easily be a 5/5.

A supremely cute Mexican restaurant serves up a limited menu of tacos and other small plates. We had a Chilies Toreados and a mushroom tacos and both were packed in flavour and were delicious. Loved it!

2nd visit to Halisco last night and what more do I need to say? Such incredible flavours across the small plates and tacos! The team is great and super polite. Atmosphere is bright and busy so I would recommended booking.

Compact Mexican restaurant serving tacos etc. I enjoyed the food and it wasn’t too expensive. Was a bit confused when we arrived as we had booked and all they had available was the bar or outside, which is fine if you know in advance. They found us a table in the end though, so all good.

Love their (new?) menu. Hadn't been for a while but the small plates they've added are great. Birria or the oyster mushroom tacos were probably my favourite. Margaritas also very nice.

A lovely cosy restaurant! The food was delicious and portion size was great. I went here for my birthday and my friend organised them to bring out some churros with a candle in and everyone sang happy birthday! I was very embarrassed but what a nice thing to do! The main host/waiter was super great, he was friendly and chatty. I would definitely recommend but you need to book!
