   Had an excellent time during our (mine and my partners) stay at the stonefield tavern. We were welcomed with a smile and the room was lovely and clean. We spent most of the afternoon/evening at the bar with the locals and everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome. The bar was very reasonably priced. A big bonus was the shower in the room we stayed in being brilliant! Little bit of noise from the road however nothing that disturbed our sleep.

   My family came from Yorkshire to attend my mother’s funeral and stayed at the Stonefield Tavern! It was a short stay but the staff were very friendly and considerate!the accommodation was excellent and the cleanliness was first class! I wouldn’t hesitate in returning or recommending this accommodation to anyone!

   Lovely wee pub! The accommodation was beyond expectations. Very clean and comfortable! Cosey wee space with a fairly sizeable bathroom. Only downside was the stairs up to the room, not really ideal for anyone with a walking stick or mobility issues, that aside, loved the stay, accommodation and the staff were super friendly and helpful too.
