βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Absolutely fantastic experience at the **Horse Shoe Bar**. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of character. The drinks were excellent, the place had a great buzz, and it felt like somewhere you could happily spend hours. A special mention has to go to **Raymond**, the host , genuinely outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and effortlessly made everyone feel welcome. His hospitality really sets the tone for the bar and turns a good night into a great one. Highly recommended , weβll definitely be back.

Recently visited for lunch, after a day of christmas shopping.. Had a warm & iinformative welcome on food and drink options. We opted for the pizza deal which was 2 for 1,great value there. We were looked after by a chatty barmaid Janette who informed us that chef Mary had prepared our tasty pizza's.. Will be back to try the great selection on the drink & meal deal..

As an exiled Glaswegian I returned to my favourite iconic pub for a pie and a pint. The beer was great but unfortunately the βpeely Wallyβ pie was a disaster! Gone was the pie oven on the bar (probably health & safety) replaced by a dumb waiter. More importantly the so called pie was crust and pastry with a teaspoonful of filling for the princely sum of Β£2.60! Please, please change your supplier and revert back to a proper greasy Glasgow pie which actually tasted of something and everyone loved and waxed lyrically about.

We went to the Horseshoe bar for some authentic atmosphere and food. It was good, you have to order at the bar and pay before getting anything. I understand it makes it easier for the staff. The food comes down from upstairs. It was great. They have a Guinness Stew and Fish and chips. The rest is American food. They were very friendly.

Traditional Scottish bar. Wood stained iconic central bar with plenty of seating and standing areas. The upstairs is well know for a quality karaoke and downstairs has plenty of screens for a non bias watch of the football. Not fancy but reliably good

Been in here many a time so always look forward to going back, it is one of the best pubs in the world and I have been in a few. One other Horseshoe bar I have been in was in Sorrento in Italy, it was also a great traditional Scottish pub.

First pub of the day and first pub of this 2 week trip to Scotland. I had a half pint of Northern Monk Eternal. Sam had a cup of tea. Old school pub with a lot of wood paneling and an oval bar that seems to run on forever. Service was good. No complaints. Toilets were clean.

Visited for a midweek lunch and had the three plate tapas option. Delicious! I recommend the nachos! The staff were really lovely too and approached us with menus when we sat down. I was expecting to go to the bar to order or to order via the website. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again. Got to have a look at all the pictures and plaques on the wall - perhaps something to do when it's quiet.
