Horrible experience all round Not even the basics done right Dirty glasses. Chicken in the hunters chicken was like rubber. Given beans instead of peas The gents toilet rivals the toilet in trainspotting for cleanliness. Kids apple juice we were served had some weird unknown substance in it. Place had no back ground noise or music it was like a library. Place also stunk of fish. Avoid Won't be back

Popped in for a wee pub lunch with my cousin & baby. 2 steak dinners cooked to perfection. Staff were lovely, friendly & polite. Toilets spotless but someone should remove the dead plant in there lol. Will be in again. Thanks for the service

Service is good, but waiting times aren't and neither is the food. Also I had a piece of cheesecake which burned my mouth! Since when is cheesecake served hot??

Don't waste your time and money. Got food that was burnt and swimming in oil. Waited 20mins to see if anyone would come to see how everything was. I went to bar to speak to someone but waited another 15mins. So 35mins to speak to someone. My guest had already finished there meal.

Today I was pleasantly surprised by the best standard of food served. It was cooked fresh, hot and very tasty. The cost was extremely reasonable and I shall be visiting here again.

We waited twenty five minutes for our starter, which was ok at best. We then had to ask twice about our main meal which took them over 40 minutes to bring it to our table, the steak pie was burnt and dry and my fish wasn’t much better. All in all for a small lunch we were in therefor nearly two hours, will never go back.

Haven't been in for years. Place looks a bit tired. Looking for a spot of early lunch and had a lovely chicken kebab. Nice polite friendly staff and didn't cost the earth. Not the best but not the worst either. It's pub grub. Place needs a good overhaul, toilet looked like I remember from 30 years ago.

Service was great, toasty was perfectly made and so reasonably priced. Always have great banter with Tracy, she makes sure everyone is taken care of.
