The best meal (let alone takeaway) I’ve had in a long time! Staff were friendly on the phone, happy to help, food delivered promptly, still hot and it was all delicious!
Very fast delivery, arrived VERY hot. Quality of the food was 10/10 all tasted amazing!! Highly recommend, this is definitely my first choice for a Chinese in Stroud.
Parked up for the night in a lay-by on the a419 thus is the only place i could get to deliver to me the chicken chow main was piping hot and very tasty and the sweet and sour chicken balls was very nice will definitely eat from here again oh and thank you for the prawn crackers I loved thm
Disappointing food after reading great reviews. Sweet and sour chicken was lovely - but the chow mein smelled like stale cigarettes!! Really gross and put us off eating anything.
We leaving the UK for a while and really wanted a Chinese take away but for some reason Mondays are not popular for Chinese take aways but China City was open and with changing a favourite Chinese it’s always a gamble - China City not only came up with the goods but exceeded all expectations… if you are even in need I can’t recommend this place enough
First time using since we moved to stonehouse and we are very very impressed! Big portions and really yummy!

I pre ordered at 4:55 ( opens at 5pm )for delivery at 5:30, food arrived at 5:25 a friendly delivery driver, the food was hot and the satay skewers are amazing. Loved all of our food. I don’t normally leave reviews but will definitely be ordering again.
Kim is very nice and an interesting person to talk to. The spring roles are my definite favourite. Prices are good too. Unlike many other places one can pay cash and by card (from £5 upwards)
