   Absolutely horrendous experience. Went in for a simple battery change and I now have more warning lights than a 747. Their solution was “can you take your van to your own mechanic “. Couldn’t write this, claims department was closed for the night. I can’t turn off my wipers without disconnecting the new battery change and I now have to go and hire a van as I’m self-employed

   I have just had a free tyre check as I thought I had a slow puncture. They gave all tyres a thorough check and could not find any problems. They were extremely helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend them.

   Great knowledgeable service by staff member while selecting a child’s booster car seat. Asked if he would be able to assist in fitting into the car and he obliged no problem. All staff in store were great as we were asked by two different others if we were bring attended to. Would recommend this branch to all.

   I recently came in to get my headlights replaced on my C3 and I was very impressed with the speed, friendliness and professionalism of the staff who work here. It helps that the price was right too! It was just really easy and quick to book the job and get it done. I really like the people who work here too. They’re very friendly. I actually just noticed how busy this parking lot is and noticed how one of the staff prevented an accident in the happening. They acted quickly to help one of the individuals pull out safely and ensure that they were able to leave the parking lot safely. IMO - that to me is an example of people who not only help get the job done but go above and beyond to help customers depart safely as well. Pretty impressive.

   Great service and honesty. My mum ordered and paid for a new headlight bulb and to be fitted. Turned out she had ordered the wrong bulb and was swiftly refunded the difference. The service provided where the parts can be fitted on site, is superb and my mum said this was efficient and organised. Kilmarnock Halfords is my mum’s go to place now.

   I am delighted by the service I received today by Jeff at Halfords today. I would recommend Halfords to everyone who has a problem with their car. It’s difficult to get help on a Saturday but the staff at Halfords could not have been more helpful. I will certainly return for all my motoring accessories.

   Rocked up first thing Sat morning. Nice lady on counter asked what I needed, found the right wipers immediately and although I know mine are very easy to fit and can do it, they will fit yours if needed. Very easy to deal with.

   We had car troubles when out shopping, key broke and we were unable to get in the car which led to the battery dieing. We were stuck and clueless on a a very cold rainy winters night. We popped into the Kilmarnock store and reserved some of the best customer service we have seen in a long time. We got a free jump start and some advice on what was wrong with the car. The sale's man advised us what he would do with no hard sell and a very honest suggestion on what he could do to fix our car. We went with his advice and with 15 minutes we were back on the road with a new battery and so fantastic dad jokes for free.

   Needed a new side light bulb. Took it to Halfords and they had the new bulb fitted and working within 5 minutes. Brilliant service at a very reasonable cost, can't praise them enough. I have no hesitation in recommending them highly. I will definitely use Halfords again.
