   Took a long time with Deliveroo I really wasn't keen on the chicken and beef curry the curry sauce is not to nice in my opinion just hot and very bland. But the chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce was lovely chips were nice and soft and all the food was hot.

   Ordered the spare ribs, they were very overdone was chewing for abt 5 mins a piece was horrible. Ordered duck rolls received vegetable rolls. Had to pay an additional £4 for prawn crackers on a £40 order and they gave me abt 10 prawn crackers which were stale. Genuinely the worst takeaway I’ve ever had if you’re considering ordering from here don’t bother. Way too expensive for what you get in my opinion.

   I am not sure why some reviews are so harsh. My girlfriend and I love the food from here and order it regularly. The honey chili crispy beef is delicious, as is the chow mein and many other dishes. The price is reasonable and the people are friendly.

   DO NOT RECOMMEND My partner and I have had takeaways from you in the past but will now stop coming in. We kept seeing the small dirty fish tank on the counter top and its really upsetting. Its too small, unclean and it has no plants or anything else fish need. We've spoken to staff in the hope that it would be changed and give the fish a better quality of life but nothing has improved. If it stays the same we wont use your business again and several friends said they have already stopped ordering food from you.

   A low-key little takeaway shop with dim lights and a relaxing vibe about it, Golden Eagle is a nice place to grab traditional Chinese food with plenty of options and cheap prices. The staff there were really kind, throwing some fortune cookies into our bag and not taking long at all in cooking our food. The food itself was nice, the chow mein and rice were of good quality but the vegetables used were a bit of a let down and quite watery. I would have hoped for slightly better quality food but I would go here again for the cheap price.

   Was the worst Chinese food myself and daughter have ever had. The chicken from the chicken chow mein was the worst chicken I have ever tried to bite. It was chewy and tough. The sauce lacked flavour. It came with two black mushrooms and 2 massive watery broccolis!? Lots of lettuce leaves? Hardly no bean sprouts. The crispy chill beef was flavourless and dull. Even the prawn crackers were hard. I didn’t feel comfortable eating any once I tried it so I took it ALL back and they kindly gave me a refund. I think if your used to really nice Chinese food this place will never ever live up your expectations. Shame, as it’s my local :(
