Great campsite with friendly host. Well maintained site with decent hot showers, all nice and clean. Short walk to the pub down the road . A lovely relaxing stay and we will be back. Thanks Trevor ☺️
A lovely, well maintained site with nice facilities and electric hook up surrounded by fields and trees. Trevor couldn't have been more helpful. A 30 minute walk into Ireby for food and a few drinks. Will be back for sure
Lovely peaceful farm based campsite. Well kept and spacious. Nice friendly welcome, but not at all intrusive. Flat level pitches within the orchard or in the larger field. Hookups available. Clean modern toilets and showers. Dog-friendly site with public footpaths for walking. Just perfect!
Lovely site plenty of walks and plenty of shops and food outlets.
We have stayed at this campsite numerous times over the years as it has direct access to Arrowebrook Park which is fantastic for dog walking. The owner has now inflated the price to £40 per night and for what he is offering ie basic facilities (although very clean) this is way over the top. Sadly we will not be returning.
Had a great stay at this well-managed site. Great owner/farmer who runs a respectable but relaxed set up. Ideally located for Wirral coastline or the Merseyrail to Liverpool via West Kirkby. Highly recommended.
I've been trying to book a camping pitch for myself and my daughter and it's not happening. Firstly the phone number has changed so I call the new number given out and get another answering machine that won't record a message. I've phoned several times over the past week and a half. I was allowed to leave a message the other day and nobody has got back to me. It's a lovely place but this is bloody ridiculous! If you want bookings then have some way of taking them and if you receive a message on your answering service have the bloody courtesy to call back! Still waiting.........
Very basic facilities, difficult in the shower due to lack of space in the cubicle. The field was unmowed so not easy to walk across and difficult to see dog poo which was behind our tent. The farmer was pretty miserable and came to settle up by making a gesture rubbing his fingers together, I thought that was quite rude. One wash up for the whole site which is totally inadequate. I definitely wouldn't recommend.
