I think I've never seen a supermarket that empty. Almost not fruits and vegetable, no milk, the aisles were empty. A big supermarket for a sainsburry's but with nothing inside. How shameless !

I understand shop theft is an issue, but I donβt appreciate being made to feel suspect. Far too suspicious from the staff member, still holding the wine she took away to remove the alarm tab, asking in an accusatory manner βis there any reason you havenβt paid yet?β, the only reason that I hadnβt being that I was waiting for the return of the item that I was trying to pay for. Itβs important that we continue treating people with respect and trust, until proven guilty, and I feel quite let down that a casual Friday evening shop at my local store feels so incriminating.

Great Sainsbury's local. It's got everything you need from Sainsbury's. The self check out area individual stations are stupidly small with only a tiny bagging area below the scanner.

While they tend to run out of certain produce, that's a price we pay for fresh food. It's Sainsbury's, so more expensive than Tesco and Aldi/Lidl, as you'd expect. However, I don't come to this Sainsbury's for silly things like "groceries" or "alcohol." Aside from the occasional snack, my investment in this glorious establishment lies in the PIZZA ROLLS from the bakery. The pizza rolls here are my holy grail. I've gotten 5 in one go before to tide me through a long day. They run out quite early, but I would think my 9am escapades to pillage Sainsbury's of their delicious pizza rolls play a major hand in this ongoing issue.

Made a grocery order via UberEats, couldn't leave my house due to disability and illness, the staff at Sainsbury's put the wrong label on the bag and the wrong order arrived at my flat. I now have items in that I don't need or want.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was victim of a clear case of discrimination at Sainsbury's on Leith walk. I went there this morning and was terribly served by an old lady that did not want to serve me at the checkout. That lady told me to go to the self checkout. I said that I wanted to be served by a person because I do not get paid for being a cashier. She answer mocking at me: you see this barcode?? Scan it here and then pay. I do not have to be served or spoken to like that. I have rights and she also said that the checkouts are for old people o someone who wants tobacco. I wanted to speak to the manager and while I waited I saw her serving young people that did not buy tobacco as well as 2 other cashiers. One sales assistant came to me and I asked again for the manager, he left and one woman came and brought me a blank piece of paper when I asked for a formal complain form. She said the manager was off and did not have a formal complain form. If I used that blank piece of paper she would have probably bin it as soon as I left the shop. I deserve the same treatment as everyone else and I will complain every time I see something unfair like this. I feel disappointed and disgusted for this situation I had to deal with and I will tell everyone how people are served in that shop. You talk about inclusion, rights for foreigners or other minorities and that is not true. Minorities are treated with disrespect there very quickly. I give you one star but I would like to give 0 stars for people that bully customers. No wonder Lidl have more customers or even Iceland are taking your customers as well. Kind regards.

Expensive cheaper options outthere eg scotmid tesco and asda if you do go keep hold of the trolley at the tills or when you turn to put your shopping bags in it it will be gone I caught a member of staff taking the trolley I was using and when I said I was not finished with it she be came hostile I've been back to this store and must say they have got better or so I thought I was in today 10/8/22 and the security guard set of my social anxiety by coming up behind me and when I told him I could have lashed out he denied it even though a sainsbury employee was sanding there she didn't even apologise on the store's behalf I think the need send their saff and security on disability awareness training

The store obviously provides for single people, but the black security guard is anything but subtle, when I walk past and he's outside having a ciggy, eyes popping out and coming across totally like a creep! Although being on my doorstep, that's why I choose not to shop there!
