   Don't relie on there woossh drivers mine just took my delivery away as my lift is out of order I'm only on 2nd floor disabled and just out hospital after operation and he called me to ask my entry number I gave him he said lift was off so he would not bring it up stair now that was an 100 order what if this was my last I dont get it bk for days an got nothing in in these circumstances you should get an instant refund or b able to collect cash from store very angry Lester Campbell Edinburgh south side

   Terrible store so terribly organised my friend bought salmon from it and it literally expired the day I got it. It's unacceptable to even be able to seel stuff that is expiring withiut even discounting it. There is always so little stock of products they are always running out and it's not uncommon to find shelves missing items. The floor is always sticky and the store lacks an acceptable level of cleanliness. Disgraceful

   Very little space, hard to find anything without bumping into another shopper. The checkouts are filthy and I wasn’t sure if it’s even safe to place your shopping on them. If you have time, walk down Nicolson street for 3 minutes to another Tesco, which is much more spacious and cleaner

   Today, 19 Aug 2025, I was there 7:15 am, and the front door was closed. I tried to open manually (I thought maybe the doors are broken), but then I noticed keys are in and the manager is walking on the floor. On the sign with the opening times it's written that you open at 6am everyday? If something happened, why not put a note about what's going on, on the door, but maybe it was a time keeping issue?

   Literally just popped in for a quick pizza to takeaway and cook. Not difficult! Went to the self service checkout… and this woman who works there comes over sooo rude! And obnoxious! Points at where I need to put the pizza for the ‘checkout’ area. I haven’t been to this store before and wasn’t sure, didn’t take long to figure this out myself either! But she comes over with such attitude! There was no need whatsoever for it. What an awful way to treat customers in front of a queue! Wouldn’t bother here again. Staff attitude is terrible!

   I love this intimate Tesco express. The size is so convenient you can easily find exactly what you are looking for. The prices aren’t too bad either and I think this Tesco has some of the best meal deal options in all of Edinburgh. If your in this area of Edinburgh it’s a must visit if you want an easy shopping experience and it’s just a few minute walk from the large Tesco Express.

   Refused entry before 2300 when site states open until midnight. Was told by staff “oh well that’s old opening times, you can walk to the next Tesco.. that MIGHT be open but dunno you’ll need to look”. Followed your advertised times so what’s the point in looking further? Quite unfair for a shop that advertises household essentials and medicines. Staff were more interested in leaving with their own shopping whilst joking around and eating, to communicate with potential customers whilst in operational hours. Poor show!!!!

   Good prices if you get the clubcard, which is a very difficult process sometimes because of website bugs, however do not trust the closing time being 12!!! They close at least at 11pm, we tried to go here at around 11:30 the other night and it was completely closed and lights off and everything.

   Today I arrived to Tesco located at busy street on south bridge time 22:53. Black security young boy stopped me on entrance telling that shop is close, however Tesco operates until 11pm right ? He didn’t allowed me to go inside and he was really nasty including unpleasant smell. I request manager who came and try to explain that they are really busy but nobody was inside. Manager’s name was Gabon who’s allowed me to go inside. I explain that I just wanna buy cigarettes and it will take me 30 seconds. Black male still insists to don’t allow me to ho inside. Finally I have my cigarettes but definitely person responsible for closing doors so early should be investigated.
