   Unfortunately I am going to have to update my review as I just discovered what is going on with the prices in this shop. Everything is approximately 75% higher than any other similar supermarket in the area and double the price of what you can get online. I bought 2-3 different bags of pulses , (lentils, beans, chickpeas) only to find out that the shop charges £4.99 each whereas nearby shops charge approx £2.50-£3 and if you buy from any online supermarket the same brand has all pulses for £2 per kg. Same with some other products like tinned vegetables and frozen pies, meatballs etc. I mean, come on guys, this is robbery, sorry. Not coming to the store again.

   If you are looking for a nice, clean market where you can find Turkish market items, this is your place. The prices are relatively high but it is expected as items probably coming from overseas.

   I give three stars at they have some interesting and good products. However some of the disrespectful comments from staff left me feeling uneasy . The man asked me where I'm from , when I told him the honest truth , he started to be insulting.( I didn't start this personal conversation.) 'He kept going on for a while saying to the effect , you are not really from Edinburgh if the truth can’t be handled best not to make small talk . would never insult someone like this in any country. Maybe train some of the staff better as respect goes along way in business. Normally it’s very good .

   Very friendly guys, I go here mainly for frozen food and meat as we don't cook much Middle Eastern cuisine so I don't buy other stuff much. I have tried meat from many shops in Edinburgh over the years, some in Glasgow & Livingston but I like what this shop offers more than anywhere else. They give you meat that you ask for and not what they want to sell. You may feel price is a bit more but you get good stuff.
