I suggest the cafe server wash her hands before she handles my food without gloves or tongs! All the politeness in the world doesn’t make up for contamination.
And as if that wasn’t enough, every time I’m at Tesco in the morning and they’re packing bread into bags or baguettes, I’ve never seen anyone wearing gloves. It’s pathetic. We’ve just had COVID and more. And now there’s another virus going around again. Basic tasks like packing bread should always be done with gloves. How am I supposed to know what someone has just done with their hands? Incomprehensible. Incomprehensible. Thank y
Cat at Hermiston Gait on Thursday November 6th around 15.30 went above and beyond to help my friend and I in our quest for a particular product. She was so helpful and friendly and located the item for us. The world needs more people like Cat in retail! #Paddington !
I had a very unpleasant experience at Tesco Café. The staff, especially one particular employee, was extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. Because of her attitude, I was left with a very negative impression. Honestly, this was the rudest and most unprofessional service I have ever encountered. As long as this person continues to work there, I cannot recommend visiting this café.
After putting through £155 of shopping went to scan club card which was refused as was screen shot and not physical card. I deleted Tesco app years ago as fed up with so many apps and don’t want to carry a million cards around either. This has never been an issue in the past but this very stubborn check out person showed zero common sense. Assistant manager and duty manager also refused to accept. I asked why couldn’t just scan my club card QR code and verify my identity (as had driving licence) but again not possible. Just offering zero solutions and kept reiterating like a robot “that’s policy”!? and reason was to prevent fraud. What they think I stole someone else’s club card so they could get my points!?!? I left all the shopping as I find Tesco only just competitive with club card otherwise a rip off.
Freezer has been broken for a couple weeks, rather than clean it whilst it was broken, they just put the produce inside an already manky freezer.
Never had anything but bad experiences in this shop. Always badly stocked and (although it sounds strange) the isles seem too close together, so everyone is getting in each other's way all the time.
An awful experience today in cafe. My wife, grandson and myself were bitterly disappointed by the high prices, lousy service and disgusting food. Food was tasteless and barely edible. Even with low expectations, I’m very disappointed Tesco and won’t be back!
Wow.... Scary. More staff than shoppers in this warehouse of a store. Lots of Tesco "pickers" going around the store with their huge trolleys. Was like a scene from a sci-fi movie. The in-store cafe was exceptionally good, and does an amazing breakfasts if your in one of the new hotels nearby, and ain't to snobby!
Well stocked. Some very good discounts, mostly after Christmas sales in sweets &chocolate box aisle.
