   Me and my girlfriend come to this Tescos all the time and literally stay 2 minutes up the road. Never had an issue with this place if not it's always been overwhelmingly possative, Jackie is always such a joy and so is all the other staff, this Tescos is usually 5/5 However I have to write this review after what happened today. My girlfriend is Norwegian and had her family over for her graduation at university, on the way back home we popped by to grab meal deals, they don't know how the self checkout works here or about meal deals so they where obviously confused at the self checkout. I got a monster and that's when Lisa came over to approve the sale, had to tell my girlfriends parents what was going on as it was confusing for them. I explained to Lisa they are from Norway and we are teaching them about meal deals. This is when to my disgust Lisa says "well maybe you should teach them English as that would help" In what world is that an acceptable response to say, let alone while working in a busy Edinburgh Tescos with thousands of tourists. Lisa if you're reading this over 95% of Norwegians speak English fluently, mainly the older secluded generations that dont. Please change your narrow mindset, I dread to imagine what you think / say about other tourists As I said earlier, I usualy love this Tescos and never had an issue, but that has royaly annoyed me and I have to say something about that

   It’s called Tesco Express because with such a limited range, you’re out the door fast. When it comes to food, I can rarely find what I actually need. Self-checkout available.

   Good range of products, friendly staff, fast service at the South Bridge store, but the fridge doors are nearly all broken and don’t close, so sometimes food goes off before the Use By Date. Also closes at 11pm despite the sign saying midnight.

   For a small shop there is quite a good selection. I find the shop quieter during the day time and gets busy around 5-6pm.

   I am a loyal and trustworthy customer to this branch and they way I get treated is terrible because I am a teenager. I went for a energy drink and I am of age and the worker said you had to be 25 to buy it, which is completely wrong because you have to be 16 then I had to ask for manager. Not only, I’m I wasting the managers times I am wasting my own time and the people behind me in the queue because the worker was not trained properly about Challenge 25.

   Popped in here to spend Clubcard vouchers. I must say, it's definitely one of the best "express/local" grocery stores in the area, being larger with a wider range. Well laid out and clean too. The self-checkout assistants are prompt to assist. If I had one criticism, it's that the 'use by' date of chilled items in this store is particularly short. It's not uncommon for whole shelves of items to only have a day or two on them before going out of date. Almost feels like it's done intentionally to push people to go in more often, and thus spend more money. It's not as cheap as Lidl up the road, but if you're after better quality, more choice, and don't mind paying a little extra, then definitely give this store a shot.

   I am shocked at how a chicken and avocado sandwich meal deal give me the worst thing that happened to my bowels I went out all night then I had a sore stomach and suddenly I had the urge to poo then I done it I turn round to look at it and it looked like Hershleys chocolate sauce I want an apology for the way it hurt me so I will not buy a meal deal here for a while

   A great supermarket near Edinburgh university. Almost all items are available at a competitive pricing compared to other supermarkets around. Even liquor pricing are cheaper compared to other around. The staffs are helpful and friendly.There is not a great selection due to the space in the shop, however, it has much more choice than the Sainsbury's nearby.
