An amazing experience. The food at kibou never disappoints — always go for classic signature Yasai volanco rolls as they’re the best. The professionalism of all the staff and team is second to none, and we’ve never had a bad dining experience at Kibou. The cleanliness and the attention from staff is always so appreciated. This is one of our family's very favourite restaurants. We absolutely love the sushi, it is the best we have had. As it was a birthday celebration this time we treated ourselves to the Wagyu Beef Nigiri which was incredible, just melt in the mouth and delicious. I mentioned when booking we were there for a birthday and the waitress brought a cake with a sparkler at the end which was a lovely touch. This was the first time taking our sushi-sceptic daughter but she actually loved it and the bento box went down well with her. The staff were friendly and welcoming as always. They brought children's chopsticks which helped a lot. Highly recommend Kibou Cheltenham!
Deservedly popular Japanese bar/restaurant, with striking contemporary decor. The food was super fresh-tasting and delicious, and the portions generous. Drinks are on the expensive side, and the wine list isn't great, so better for beer or cocktail drinkers. Best to book a table - we didn't, and ended up sitting next to the bar, which obviously creates a different vibe. The staff were delightful, but overstretched. Two waitresses are not enough to cover such a large space when every table is taken, so we had some long waits. Definitely a positive evening out though.
Had lunch here to try the Ramen. Was really surprise how great the food was. Dessert was also amazing, to the lady who served us and another lady named Glaiza kudos to your excellent customer service. Highly recommended!
Managed to book a private room here for 7 people, ths was a wonderfull spaced and added greatly to our experiance. Food was amazing and there was so much choise. Will 100% be going back. It was a little costly, However you get what you pay for in life and its 100% true here. Overall a great resturant.
Absolutely love KIBOU, this is my favorite restaurant. Make sure to make a booking as it's very popular! We have been quite a few times now and have never been disappointed. The aesthetics and atmosphere makes you feel like you're in an authentic Japanese restaurant. The service is always very friendly, polite and attentive. As for the food, it's wonderful. Everything is delicious, I particularly recommend the ramen and any of the sushi. I would however like a couple more non alcoholic cocktail options. Otherwise it's pretty perfect. Most certainly recommend a visit.
Fantastic first experience. Service and food were great. Drinks were fantastic, and the food was just as good. Definitely on the pricier side, with a few items seeming overpriced given the portion sizes, but will definitely be returning again. Nice to see a restaurant take note of the booking notes also, much appreciated.
Make sure to reserve as it gets very busy and can be booked very quickly. The staff were very friendly and accommodating especially to my friend who had allergies. They really made sure to inform and be attentive We were given wasabi peas to while we waited for our food and it was pleasant. The food was all cooked to excellent standard. The meats were tender and soft, full of flavour. Sushi was prepared nicely, wasn't falling apart etc. My only complaint is that I wish there was more. But we all finished our meals feeling very satisfied. The decor is nice with the cherry blossoms around, seating was good and you can see the fish on display as well. Would come again if I'm in the area
Amazing restaurant with authentic Japanese food and drinks. Great vibe and atmosphere. Felt very relaxed inside. The food was absolutely amazing, probably one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. Staff where great and attentive and the prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes. The portions where huge. If you have never tried authentic Japanese cocktails then you definitely should give them a go! Japanese whisky is amazing. Thank you for the experience. Hope to come back here again soon.
