Most of the staffs are good and talk nicely except one arrogant and rude uncle at the counter. He doesn’t know how to behave with their customers. He should know that the kindness doesn’t require money. I hope the owner of the shop will take note of this. His behaviour and way of taking was terrible and unacceptable.
Love this shop, they have everything I need. They also have halal meat and all kinds of products from back home and the location is just perfect because its so close to the University.
Extremely poor for collection of Evri package. Apparently decided to return early, whist insinuating Evri pick up notice was incorrect. Completely unhelpful "Sorry brother" is all I got
I love exploring all the shops in Edinburgh, but I have to say, Maqbools is my favorite! They offer such a fantastic variety of baked goods, fresh meat, veggies, and delicious pickles. The staff are always friendly and so helpful, making my visits even better. Plus, the prices are really great too!

The place to go for spice. If you're a bit shy of mixing your own curry spices, there are ready mixed spices. They also sell amazing samosas.
They sell expired products intentionally!!!!! The guy sold a drink to me that was expired 2 months ago. I only realised after drinking. And when i went back to him to show him he took the bottle away and gave me my money. He didn’t even apologise to us he said you already took your money why are you making noise just get out. I told him i can call the police and he told me i have experience in markets twice your age the police can’t do anything to me they will just give me a notice that i throw in the bin. The guy was really rude to me and i wish i didn’t give him the bottles back before calling the police. DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SHOP!!!!!!
Just bought 2 kg of lamb £13.50 kg, full of bones-Agreeing with some reviews service is appalling! Especially the butcher one! Please treat everybody equally!

Lot of People Complain about this Shop Maqbools my last experience was not Positive I think the Owner is Change new Owner don't know how to handle this Shop customer On the Till completely new People and on floor too Before when i Enter in Shop I give them Islamic Greetings no answer wa Alyaqum Salam even when I go to pay on Till I give them Salam they don't give any Response When I say in English Hi he answers me so I think the Owner is Change Correct me if I m wrong
