Just finished our tasting with Jamie and it was fabulous!!! He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, professional, and personable. I highly recommend doing a tasting here while visiting Edinburgh. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a novice whisky drinker or a collector…I felt very comfortable and welcome!
We went in for a whiskey tasting, and it was great! It was informative, got to taste whiskey from different areas of Scotland and got to experience many flavours of Scottish whiskey. Sean was amazing! He was super knowledgeable and fun to hang out with as he guided us through the tasting. He also made it a fun experience for someone who doesn’t drink whiskey (me). Highly recommend for a true one on one experience!
Me and my girlfriend did a tasting of whisky which was very, very good. Pleasant staff and full of interesting facts and knowledge. We had very low level of experience beforehand, but the bar was set accordingly and then raised from there. Good choices of whisky and very interesting stories and facts told along the way. Sean who hosted the experience was very professional and pleasant and the conversations was great thorough the whole thing. Very personal and intimate which was nice since it made time for questions, which you dont always get on a tour with more people involved. Would recommend it to everyone who wants to dive in to the whisky rabbit whole.
What an awesome experience -- Jamie had a wealth of knowledge and took me through everything -- well spoken and very kind. The whiskey tasting tour is pretty cheap too and totally worth it -- you should definitely try. 100% recommended!
Fantastic experience, just had a wonderful taster experience with Jamie who was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and methods of creating the various Whiskeys. His passionate and humorous journey though the blends was a delight. Many thanks for a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

It was nice experience. Staff member was really nice and helped to choose correct whisky for my taste buds.
The server with the turban was incredibly rude and talking too my partner with serious disrespect and raised his voice at her when all she asked for was if they have samples. Then when I confronted him about the situation in a calm manner he chose not to talk too me with the same respect i was giving him. It was honestly the worst customer service and behaviour I have seen in a shop. Will never spend my money there it was absolutely ridiculous.
Great store with huge selection of whisky and gin, quaich and whisky flavour snacks and condiments. Store clerk was also friendly.
