The staff gave very good recommendations after understanding my taste preference and budget. He was very knowledgeable and patient. Much better than the shops in high street and good range as well. I would highly recommend.
Woke up Xmas day thinking oh were can get drink from as the last few days been up in the air well it was open, surprised,this shop has an array of different drinks some real nice,some never heard of,can be little expensive but it's worth for the type of drink you can get I bought much more than should have but was worth it.v.good shop staff well versed in different types of alcohol,would have put 5* just little expensive that's all

Fellow from Dallas Texas here. We stayed in Edinburgh four days, and shopped at this store every single day. Clean store, well stocked, super friendly employees, and great prices. If I were a local, I'd be a regular for sure. First time I've ever had un-peated Scotch. What a difference!
Nice little scotch selection, and the kind gentleman was extremely friendly and helpful with picking out a couple bottles. On top of that, I left my rented umbrella there just before they closed. I messaged them on Google maps and they offered to return it for me (since I’m flying out before they open again). Can’t beat that service!

Refused service randomly after having previously been sold multiple times, with the same ID as previously used. Avoid if you have unfortunately physically grown up since ID picture taken. EDIT In response to reply: I was using my own, legal, driving license.
Charges my intoxicated self £3 card fee. Do not recommend. Yes there is a cash machine outside but the fact they can take advantage of people like that, is disgusting.
A good selection of drinks, with something new almost every time I visit. Helpful staff can always have good recommendations and know their stuff. Fair pricing, but try to remember to bring cash as there's a charge for card payments.
