Very nice and knowledgable shopkeepers. Was looking for a bottle of Glayva which was out of stock. Got recommended the Loch Fyne Acacia Honey and was offered a taste-test.
Nicely layout shop, perfect location just in Waverley shopping centre next to train station. Very reasonable prices. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Good service. What else someone needs. Defo recommend this shop rather than go any over priced or over rated shop.
Out of all the whisky shops this was the best. Great prices and friendly staff. Had conversations about some of the whisky and we even tried a sample of the shop blend. Highly recommend this establishment to pickup 50cl whisky.
The shop is well laid out and there are lots to see and keep the eyes entertained. Unfortunately, the tasting sessions were not open due to low staff availability. However, after some whiskey talk with the staff, I was invited to blind test some of their whiskey and one of their whiskey experts. Within a few minutes, I was on the right trail to finding something particular to my taste. At this stage still a blind test but I had identified something which I rated above my normal preference. Then the big reveal and the major concern that I had selected a 400yr old priceless whiskey! But, surprise, surprise, an 8-yr old whiskey bottled by an independent distillery. Well done - Whiskey Shop for introducing me to something special.

Very helpful and knowledgeable, was recommended some very tasty drams. I would highly recommend if you are looking to try something new.
Brilliant choice of whiskies unfortunately out of my budget. I will have to stick to Glenmorangie 8 Years Old or Grants blended which are affordable. Very nice assistant who is worth the 5 stars.
