   Great little shop, huge amount of choice and very attentive staff. My husband was well looked after and had a taste of several whiskies. They even have whisky soap (liquid handwash) and body wash! Great idea for gifts for whisky lovers. Great location on Victoria Street, which itself is a must to see - great atmosphere and so colourful - would definitely recommend calling in at the Whisky Shop whilst there.

   Very polite and welcoming staff. Had the pleasure to taste the whisky before purchasing it. Not just the barrels that were available in the shop. But other unique ones. Highly recommended to anyone who likes whisky. If you are new or old whisky lover this is the best place to go. You will find your favorite even if you don’t know it yet! Will be revisited next time when visiting Edinburgh.

   Yesterday I went there in order to be advised which bottle to buy as I have no knowledge. The lady who helped me had no intention or she did not fell like to advising or to sellling anything. I bought one bottle as I needed to buy a present. But surely, I ll never come back. Bad attention and high prices.

   If i could I'd give this place 0 stars. My partner and I popped into this shop on our way to dinner, I wanted to show her the peaky blinders whiskey since I love the show! Upon arrival I found the bottle and showed it to my partner. At that moment a lady approached me asking if I needed any help which my response was "no thank you I'm just browsing" We then moved around the store looking at other whiskeys when I noticed the lady was right on my tail following me around the store as if I was about to steal something, this continued at the 3 different shelves of whiskey we looked at. Being very insulted and angry we decided to leave, I won't be returning to this shop ever again.

   Great little shop filled with interesting Whiskies for all budgets. Particularly like that you can buy a unique single cask offering from an in store selection of a 20cl, 30cl or 60cl bottle. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to discuss what might be suitable for your taste.
