Young store workers were polite. However, an old looking store worker, who presented himself as George was very hostile and rude, not letting me take the deliveroo order that I was supposed to deliver to the customer.

I used to live nearby so this was one of my go-to places to shop, and I still swing by occasionally. I've never had a problem before, and I'm not the type to normally put in a complaint, but the interaction I had with a member of staff earlier this evening got to me. I was at the self-service checkout buying two items amounting to under Β£4, paying with cash as I was down to my last few coppers. I was trying to pay and the machine was rejecting my coins. An older staff member explained (in a clearly irritated tone) that I was putting too much in. I took this to mean too many coins at once so I begun putting them in one at a time. That seemed to work and the payment went through. It was only after I'd taken my shopping that the machine went off, at which point the same staff member began raising his voice in front of everyone saying 'see i told you', telling me that I'd 'killed the machine' and that now nobody else could use it to pay with cash. He then walked away without even giving me a chance to apologise. All I could do was walk out feeling awful. Well I apologise now, for inconveniencing the shop and my fellow customers, I realise that it was my doing. However, I thought the staff member's attitude was poor and he really shouldn't be behaving like that with customers (or anyone really). Again I've never had a problem here before, and I'm obviously not going to stop shopping here, but this interaction definitely put a bad taste in my mouth.

As a regular shopper in the co op, I don't usually have any complaints. However, I have just returned from there having witnessed the most sour faced, rude service from a female member of staff, who I belive was called by the young man attending to assist with a shopper in a wheelchair. She blatantly ignored this person, who was by now being helped by another customer, stood with her arms crossed before attending to 2 customers before telling a third she was leaving. What happened to community service?

Label says one price but try to charge me a different price at the checkout. When I challenge, the cashier gave me a rude look, as if I was making a fuss. If you can’t honour your promotion like other supermarkets do, you should at least try not to mislead the shoppers. The young guy at the checkout is very rude.

Lots of fresh foods, ready-to-eat and heat-and-eat options that were perfect for our needs while traveling. Excellent store.

I live in this area from almost Two Years now, and i come almost everyday in this store, i Will not complaint about the price and the fact that there Is almost nothing, i come only for the fact that the self checkout accept cash, Lidl not anymore. Anyway coming for almost Two Years straight they know me and see my face very often. I had the urge to exchange a 20 Pound note, i am not the type of person to Ask, but i thought i could entrust in my local store, a lot of times i gave plenty of coins in change of notes but today One guy completely ignore me telling that i am forced to buy, for change, likes was a pub or a restaurante were i never been. So i Lost time to take something fast that i do not Need and do not like, but i repeat, they were in the past very Happy to exchange notes for my Coins and in general when you pay to a guy at the counter the service Is so poor, the females are nicer. Coop today Lost a client Forever.

You are lucky to get a hello, thank you and goodbye from staff. A lot of staff will demand payment and nothing else. You will frequently be completely ignored at self checkout, like you're an inconvenient ghost. They have lasagnes that are out of date by over 2 months! We have complained about this for WEEKS now and they refuse to remove them. We have spoken to Customer Services about this SEVERAL TIMES, yet nothing has happened. Staff members, the store manager and the area manager are aware of this. Oh, and there's several members of staff not wearing face masks correctly and don't adhere to social distancing. I've been physically touched TWICE by members of staff this year. It's frankly disgusting behaviour and they should be ashamed of themselves.
