   I recently booked a stay at the Holiday Inn for my graduation, and since it was my family’s first visit to the UK, I wanted everything to be perfect. I’m happy to say that our experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Shoba, who made our late-night check-in absolutely seamless. Her kindness and efficiency ensured we had a smooth start to our stay despite the late hour. At the reception, Rachel was equally helpful and attentive. She consistently checked in to make sure everything was going well, which truly made us feel cared for. A special mention goes to Binayak, who supported us throughout our entire stay. From helping with our room bookings to ensuring a hassle-free checkout, he went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. His dedication and hospitality really made a difference. Overall, our stay at the Holiday Inn was remarkable, and my entire family left with happy memories. Thank you to the wonderful team for making our first visit to the UK so special. Highly recommended!

   I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Hotel, and the experience was nothing short of excellent. Rachel at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. She offered great local recommendations, handled my requests with genuine care, and made me feel like a valued guest. Her professionalism and warmth truly set the tone for the entire visit. The hotel facilities were equally impressive — the gym was modern, the breakfast buffet had plenty of variety, and the lounge area was cozy and inviting.    Staff were incredibly helpful and kind, they were always ready to answer questions and help. We loved the proximity to the zoo and the easy bus links into the city. Bar area was decorated nicely and was a good environment. Only let down was the room, it was a little bit tired. A lot of scuff marks on doors, marks and gouges in the surface of the desk and when the room steamed up after a shower there were lots of smudges and handprints on the windows from other guests, indicating it hadn’t been cleaned. Other than that, the room was clean and we liked the water and snacks in the fridge.

   Really had a good time at this hotel. Rooms were nice and clean, only a couple of old stains on carpets here and there but nothing major. A decent enough swimming pool, a well equipped gym and a proper sauna were a good extra touch. The bar/restaurant looks great, drinks weren’t too expensive for a hotel and food was delicious. Loses two star for serving Starbucks coffee

   If you're looking for the Ritz, go stay at the Ritz and pay for the Ritz. I stay at hotels all the time for work and this Holiday Inn is one of the nicest Holiday Inns I have stayed at. Our room was comfortable and updated. The bathroom is small but expected for being in Europe. It was clean and completely acceptable. The lobby area is updated and welcoming. The fitness room is great with all the equipment needed for a decent workout. The breakfast is wonderful and worth the extra we paid for it. I read reviews that the restaurant food is great and that is accurate. Whoever is running that restaurant and making the food is doing a great job. The food is excellent! The pool and hot tub are ok but better than not having anything. The bus stop is right outside and takes you into town in about 20 minutes.....so convenient. A family day pass is 12£ (2 adults, 3 children). If you want a nice place to stay with good food but you don't want to pay the prices of being downtown, this is the place for you.

   The staff were very pleasant and helpful, definitely an asset to the hotel. Our room was clean and warm. The breakfast was self service and good, though very busy. Pool and spa facilities were nice and clean. Requires booking a time slot, and was almost completely booked. We managed to get the last available booking (which is for an hour) Only downside is the lifts are very narrow as are some of the corridors.

   Stayed here as a stopover on the way to Aberdeen. Great location with lots of parking both at the hotel and zoo. The latter at a cost. We had a roof box and tried parking in the hotel section some of which have a low ceilings so beware. Completely our mistake got forgetting the box was there but no harm done and the box was fine. Room was clean albeit a little dated. Our room did lack plugs next to the bed and the seat provided for working was as high as the table area so your legs did not fit under the desk which is a shame. I had to take the drawers out so I could work comfortably. We had a few very noisy neighbours but they eventually settled down just before midnight. We ordered room service because we had a little one enjoy to drop and this was prompt and taste fantastic. Very generous too. Only niggle was being told we would be called about the wine selection but did not receive this. Instead we just got given a bottle of red wine which turned out to be quite expensive. Breakfast was good, self service with great views out the windows, but the fried eggs were hard/rubbery and appeared to have been sat under the lights for a bit, but otherwise there was the usual fare you'd expect. Overall I would recommend starting here but will say it's not the best Holiday Inn I've visited.

   Rooms are Very nice. You can seecthey are trying to update them. Bed hard but great for me. Clean, spacious. English breakfast was amazing. Staff are very helpful. Didn't use the pool but looks nice. Free parking. Bus stop just outside if you wanted to go into town.

   Excellent location for the zoo and for the buses going into town. The bus stop is right outside the entrance and takes you straight in to Princes Street. Overall it is a Holiday Inn so you get what you pay for. Basic room which had a bath with shower over. We had a family room which was snug with a double bed and a sofa bed in. Without the sofa bed the room would be spacious. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and although the food was OK, the service was slow and we were left for nearly an hour waiting for someone to come and clear the plates. The food was also expensive for what it was. Breakfast though was good with a nice selection and two buffets on the go to help with numbers staying in the hotel. Pool is small but fine for a quick dip with children. The gym looked well equipped.

   The hotel has a beautiful view facing the rolling hills. The rooms were clean and the service friendly. The water pressure was fantastic. The showers were like home. The restaurant served gòd food. The medium rare steak was the best. However, they start packing up breakfast 5 minutes before time so watch out. Overall, good experience.
