   My Meindl boots split, Ian was so knowledgeable and helpful. He explained why, he showed me what could be done to prevent it happening again. He exchanged the boots, threaded the laces differently and fitted a volume reducer. He advised me to use the conditioner regularly after washing. I now feel confident that my new boots will last. Thank you to Ian and the Branch Manager.

   Dan in store was great! I had been recommended a specific brand of shoe by my foot doctor. Dan explained the range and technology in the shoes. He found what options were available in my size and picked out a style that i liked. Dan was a massive help!

   Stopped in Friday afternoon for some last minute shopping for boots and other gear like a rucksack and water bottles prior to trip to hike up Ben Nevis. The staff were simply outstanding - knowledgeable about the products. Emma even gave me pro tips on lacing up boots the right way for a long hike, and helped me identify the best boots given I only use them infrequently. Noah (hope I remember the name right) was another who helped me with the rucksack. Incredibly polite and friendly service, and I was pleased with the overall selection at this location. Nice to have a Cotswold Outdoors local to the area instead of having to find locations in central London. They also have Runners Need downstairs which I’ve not shopped from yet.

   Fantastic customer service here from Dan who helped me find the right pair of running shoes. He offered expert advice on fitting and the styles of running shoe. He was quick to suggest the pair that I eventually bought as a potential given my feedback on the first pair.

   Good range of camping and outdoor gear. Is quite expensive. Some staff were friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable. There are some staff that need to go on a course for customer service etiquette. Was happy with my buy for hiking boots. Very good quality and have done the miles needed.
