   In my experience, this store is incredibly frustrating to deal with. The shelves are often poorly stocked, and the staff I've encountered have been consistently rude and dismissive. Since in-store shopping is such a letdown, the next option is ordering online—but even that feels unreasonable. They charge a flat £5 delivery fee no matter how much the order is, and what really feels like a rip-off is the additional £5 they make you pay just to return an item.They refuse to accept online returns in the store, which makes the whole process even more inconvenient. Honestly, it’s hard to understand how a business with policies and service like this is still operating, and why customers keep choosing it. Absolutely awful experience.

   The average review of it a very fair one. I can say the positive parts: the setting is a very tidy place to be in like the carpets of it look plain without marks & things are located at a certain place so there is an unlikely chance to get lost. If there was a lack of staff, I was not bothered. The negative parts: sometimes, locations of the store display the same old things regardless of category (like clothing). Didn't there used to be a GAME store in the High Chelmer shopping centre & GAME moved into Sports Direct? I could not see any place for video games there. If you want to go to a Sports Direct in Chelmsford, go for the one in Chelmer Village Retail Park.

   Purchased shoes for 50£ sketcher Torn and got rough within month. No original skecher they are selling. Visited store and manager got rude and said we cantdk nothing Be careful for next guys.

   Came in earlier today & asked the only staff member I could see for help twice only for him to ignore me & walk away on both occasions. When I gave up & went to the changing rooms he finally came over but refused to give me give me a code, telling me to try the clothes on in front of a mirror on the shop floor instead. I wasn’t happy but the two guys on the till that served me when I bought the clothes were really nice, as well as another staff member upstairs.

   Not good customer service. Guy that served me said that football is a mostly 'male audience' which is why they didn't stock women's football shirts when asked. Advised they only stock menswear
