Probably the best sangria in England! Great place to play backgammon too.

Came here for the Flamenco last night. Amazing venue, beautiful flamenco but the service was pretty bad. The two women working were perfectly nice but seemed completely overwhelmed and each order took them forever. My friend’s tortilla took 2 hours to come, she had to keep asking. They were busy but they would’ve known the event was sold out and they seemed so surprised and confused at people ordering. It seemed like there was no system in place. Other than that the vibe is great and feels authentic. One other comment: charging over £6 for a small portion of olives is locooo, put a lower price and people will buy more! Edit following owners response: What I hoped to gain from leaving a review was that you’d take on the feedback. It’s a shame you don’t seem willing to do that.

I want to like this place—but every time I've tried any of the events they organised, they turn up disappointing. I tried a Stand-up Comedy event several months ago. I got tickets online from their page, including donation, and I came on time. No-one checked my ticket and it was crowded, no space to sit and enjoy. What was the point of the tickets then? Today I wanted to try "Día de los Reyes", same situation as the previous event. I got tickets online with a donation, and again, it was busy and no space to sit. The place is extremely small to host events, there are only 6 tables, and they shouldn't ask to book tickets if they have no control over how many people are coming. Ya me cansé de probar a ver si puedo disfrutar de algunos de los eventos de este lugar, no creo que lo vuelva a intentar.

Lovely, homely and quirky. Lots of character. What I would say is that the Tapas portions could be a little larger, but all the food we had was absolutely delicious. Invisible Apples played here and were great. Would definitely recommend this place for a date night or if you fancy something a little different.

The Tapas was authentic and delicious, the wine was beautifully selected, the atmosphere was fantastic the music was unbelievable, honestly the talent from the invisible apples was truly awe inspiring I thought their hands on the instruments were about to catch fire! Can’t recommend this gig experience enough I have also taken part in a Spanish course which was also a top quality learning experience

Like a mini Spanish holiday in the middle of Bristol! Loads of authentic tasty tapas to choose from. And the bar man/waiter gave 100% top-notch service - throwing in some Spanish and making us feel like old friends. The decor is rich and warm with running medals hung around the place. We even found a dinky fairy door in the brickwork. We were there for the live music which was fab, but the evening out in Spanish Bristol was the true highlight.
