Can't speak highly enough to the staff there in Waitrose Milngavie! I dropped some cash during shopping, which I packed in my pocket separately for a later occasion, and which could have slipped out during payment. It is not super huge amount but definitely going to upset me for a couple of days. I realized that only after half an hour and returned the store to look for it. Without much hope in myself, I was surprised when checking with the staff at the help desk, it was already found and kept safely there, in an envelope! With some questions for security check, I got back what I lost. This definitely rescued my day! It could be another kind customer or staff found it and handed it in, and all in all many people have made this store being such a friendly place to shop that brings you peace in mind!
Great staff in this branch, super friendly and helpful. Above and beyond normal. The cafe is always busy, soup is great and staff in here are just the loveliest.
Dreadful online delivery. Completely missed my delivery slot with no call or communication. When I phoned the customer number they had no information about where the driver was.
Waitrose in milngavie is always hit and miss. Some of the staff couldn't be more helpful where as some are the most unhelpful unprofessional people I've met. The stock varies too sometimes I can get everything I need when others their stock is horribly low. I like that it's slightly smaller than the larger supermarkets. They aren't massively child friendly in store. Parking is really very good but again varies as sometimes people are unthinking and take disabled or parent spaces that they don't require. The cafe sadly has become very subpar so we tend to avoid it.
Been getting grocery delivery since the start. In the last several months, the dates on my dairy and meat have gotten closer ans closer to the due date. Last delivery a soft cheese had expired the day before. I'm going to have to switch grocery delivery stores.
Good variety of different foods,some breads and veg not available elsewhere.nice helpful staff
Another visit and another attempt to overcharge also misleading advertising and pricing. No apology, left without my shopping. Again! Really not happy the way waitrose conduct themselves ,I should have taken photos and report them to trading standards
First time here, and was happy with amount sf staff on the shop floor, Really clean and bright store, and the coffee shop had good selection of coffee including festive drinks
