   Garleton lodge is an amazing luxury hotel, it was an epic stay here, away from the city centre but close enough to the centre via car. The hospitality from Angela and David was so warm, we were even upgraded for free to a bigger suite, thats just wow. The bed was so comfy, we were busy exploring the city and i wishes to stay on the bed all day, the food was good and the room was super large. Its on a hill so you get amazing views of the vicinity, so beautiful when sun is rising. I will definitely come back here again in the near future. Thanks David and Angela for a beautiful place like this.

   The stay at Garleton Lodge was a wonderful experience for my first time in Scotland. The lodge’s hosts were polite and welcoming. My room was clean and inviting. The view from my room was fantastic, overlooking Scottish fields and a bird’s eye view of Edinburgh. Arthur’s Seat was plain in site. I say again, a great first visit and introduction to Scotland.

   I stayed one night at Garleton Lodge with my dad. We attended the Scottish Open golf tournament on the Thursday. Communication was easy and excellent through their app, so I was able to keep them updated when we'd be able to check in. The place was absolutely amazing! Sweet really out of the way, in a stunning countryside location, the views all around were beautiful. The two owners were super helpful and friendly, and breakfast was very "homely" and delicious. The only thing I could've done with, was a fan in the room, it was very warm and there was no A/C. But the beef was extremely comfortable and so were the pillows! All in all, we only stayed for one night, but I would definitely go back with my partner sometime as it would be a perfect romantic getaway spot!

   Fabulous views from this very special place. Well appointed rooms, very comfortable. The hosts, David and Angela, could not be more welcoming or helpful. We needed assistance with transport to the wedding we were attending, and they were incredibly helpful and stepped in when we were struggling to find a taxi. Breakfast is super generous and delicious. Could not ask for more and would definitely recommend.

   I’ve been lucky enough to stay in a lot of fabulous places & Garleton Lodge is right up there in the absolute favourites. We stayed for two nights enjoying spa treatments & a delicious grazing board on the first day & more wonderful treatments, a dip in the hot tub & an incredible 7 course tasting menu on the 2nd. Angela & David are such welcoming & friendly hosts - they really couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were spotless, spacious, well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches & the beds & bed linen were incredibly comfortable. You can always tell when care has been taken to ensure comfort & it certainly has been here. The spa is is fabulous addition & there’s a wide selection of Dermalogica treatments to choose from. All the food was beautifully presented & generous. The views from the dining room are spectacular. Such a wonderful place to spend a couple of days. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Absolutely top notch!

   Walking into the lodge I could feel the comfort and hospitality wrap around me like a warm blanket. There was nothing pretentious, just a feeling of being welcomed into a facility where excellent conversation, food, and accommodations were intended to make one feel at home. The views from the hill were stunning as trains streamed by and birds filled the skies. My brother and I were there to play golf at one of the 21 local courses but we both plan on being back to enjoy this lodge with our wives.

   What a fantastic place! We had a very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable time. Excellent facilities and delicious, plentiful food. David and Angela really know how to look after their customers. The room was well equipped and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the huge bed. Great shower with very pleasant locally produced toiletries. A very peaceful countryside location but only a few minutes drive from local towns. Lots of easy, beautiful walks in the area. The views from the hotel are superb. Amazing sunsets looking up the Forth to the famous bridges. We will definitely be returning.
