   Pretty large store, with a George, a Bureau de Change, an optician, a pharmacy and a café. They have a pizza counter and another one for fresh sushi. Beyond just food, and groceries in general, they have a bit of stationary, electrical, small appliances and everything for the home. I really like the store, it’s clean, reasonably cheap, the staff is friendly. The place has a large car park and is accessible by public transport. I miss the days when it was open 24/7 though.

   Whoever thought of moving the parcel collection desk from the corner to the middle of the store needs shot!! The girls are run ragged going BACK to the place it was before to get the parcel..leaving the desk empty..running all the way through the tills to the corner..where it was originally ,and by the time they've done that..the queue is a mile long!! Honestly!! Done away with the cafe..and put Costa Coffee in..who in Govan can afford that?? Those women and a brilliant young man who are at the tills must run to that parcel corner i dont know how many times in a day!! LEAVE THE PARCELS WHERE THEY WERE!! Instead of moving it to a desk inside the store and make the staff run ragged!! Asda bosses..TAKE NOTE!! YOUR STAFF ARE SICK OF IT!!!

   Hi I was in Store today with my two kids and my wife and we put the stuff scan self scan stuff in our trolley and me and my wife and my kids we go through the checkout the basket site but we have trolley so one of the Girll, I don’t know what her name she come to me she said go there very rudely very rude and I said we already scan we just can go she said no go there very loudly and shortly and I said okay see please nicely and she say no go there I said say nicely she said no go there I said say nicely she said no go dear And I’m going to other side of checkout and one more lady over there even she don’t hear anything about us and she said go out from Asda go out from Asda go out from Asda out very rude very rude front of the people front of my kids and my kids said papa leave and go but I’m feel really really ashamed front of my kids the girl she is very rude with the Customer know the first time I’m always go there. I’m 3 to 4 time sometime go to the Asda sometime once a week sometime two times a week but always go Asda but she was specially Tuesday night 9:30 pm. She was so rude with me in front of the Customer and she know nice person as a checkout for a customer so our complaint already to the head office about her I will do more and come to the Asda and speak to the manager I will.

   I had the best help this morning when collecting my order especially from Margaret, Kate and Joe. These three staff members went out of their way to help me as I had been given a time of 7.30-8 am to collect, Margaret patiently guided me to customer services. Kate called Joe to get my order and he willingly went to collect it for me. Margaret offered to get me another trolley as the one I had was a bit stiff and veering to the side. Kate kept me company and made me feel better about seemingly coming to collect too early and Joe brought my order to me with no issues, even though the first collection should be 9am. The time I had on my email was as stated earlier. I feel I haven't really explained myself well in this statement, but I can't thank them enough and I know some people would say "they are just doing their job" but it was more than that to me, they helped me and were patient and I am so grateful. They need to be told that they are a credit to the store. Thank you Margaret, Kate and Joe I am so thankful for your help. Anne Marie Taylor

   No more 24 hours, no staffed checkouts, no more Asda Cafe (it's gonna be a Costa) = no more of my money. I used to shop here 3-4 times a week when I finished work at 3am. Haven't been since July and honestly haven't missed it. Aldi is much cleaner, nicer and the prices are always displayed clearly and correct (definitely not the case at Asda Govan) and Morrisons is currently my go to - I can walk there over the new bridge in 10 minutes, their reductions are actually decent and they sell mince that hasn't been vacuum sealed.

   Nasty toilets, always stinky and messy. Overpriced water! Only good thing is the fact it's 24hrs, need rebuilt! Great staff and always helpful, god bless em for minimum wage, 1 ❤️

   Firstly big shout out to one of the pickers called Allan. Was in store yesterday morning and he was a top bloke, happy to engage with my little one re: prime, seen him engaging with other customers too. Would have been 5/5 based on him alone but was disappointed about the recycling of plastic bags. Spoke to 2 members of staff when at the till and was given the run around as it seems this has been moved. Girl on till didn't know anything about it. Although mentioned online left store with bags I was looking to recycle.

2. As Good As it Gets ★☆☆☆☆

   I popped in last night to buy a Nintendo Switch OLED as it was on offer and there were five empty display boxes on the shelf, indicating that there would be five left in stock and my hopes were high. I took the box to the basket checkout where the box was given to a member of staff to source the product from the secure storage behind the tills. I watched what can only be described as a glacial and lacklustre search; a cursory glance at best, yet it still took what felt like an eternity. I've never seen people move so slow. What transpired to be bad news was passed from this member of staff to another equally unenthused member of staff who embarked on her journey towards me. I asked why there were so many display boxes on the shelf and that was this not rather misleading? I'm rewarded with a vacant blank stare devoid of any explanation or empathy. Predictably, there was little in the way of an apology, merely some lethargic and incoherent mumbling under her breath and she walked away. In retrospect, I'm quite glad there was no stock left as it would seem inappropriate to spend money I work very hard for to contribute towards keeping such lackadaisical people employed. I would rather pay full price somewhere else who appreciate the custom. No doubt this review will be ignored, but if it isn't then it will just be the standard generic and insincere response that I see towards others.

   My partner orders our shopping to be delivered every week and have nothing but problems. Our delivery today had £78 worth of missing items, she phoned straight away to report this but was told by the call centre they could not contact the store or driver to check for a crate crate to hopefully deliver to us. Due to the value she has been told there needs to be an investigation which takes 24 to 48 hours and then if approved up to 5 days for a refund! The customer service at the call centre is a disgrace, offering her a £5 voucher for her next delivery but cant confirm if she will get our missing items or a refund! Would be much easier just to speak to a manager at the store directly to arrange for the missing items to be delivered! Safe to say we will now be using a different supermarket every week

   Insulting behavior from customer assistant staff at self check out. I scanned one item and realized that I forgot something. So I went back to the store and forgot to cancel it. When I came back to the till the staff was questioning me telling that they thought if I had left without paying. She was very rude. Of course people make mistakes. But, she was talking like as if I was stealing something. It is really shame that big shops like ASDA keep such staffs who don't know how to deal with customers.
