Elonar or whatever her name is needs to remember that she is in a customer focused role. She clearly has anger issues.
Was checking out with my shopping on the self service tills one member of staff older lady short grey hair with glasses ought to straighten your face when a customer is asking a question so rude. Will never shop in this Asda again…..
Desperately need staff on the tills! It's the only shop I know who doesn't have a single person on the tills after 6pm. The staff during the day on tills are great but after 6 it's self service only which is stressful.
Prices fluxuate like the Scottish weather. Usually can get things cheaper in Home Bargains across the road.
Absolutely shocked by the unprofessional and aggressive behaviour of a staff member named Eleanoa at this ASDA branch. From the moment I joined the queue, she served me with visible anger and rudeness, as if I had personally offended her just by being there. After I purchased 10 lottery scratchcards (within the legal limit), my friend, who is a completely separate customer, tried to buy her own — and she loudly refused, claiming we were “a group” and accusing us unfairly. She spoke to us with an unacceptable tone, raised her voice, and made us feel targeted and disrespected in front of others. Her male colleague looked visibly uncomfortable, and when we asked for a manager, no proper explanation was given — just more excuses and no accountability. This is not just bad service — it felt discriminatory and humiliating. Eleanoa’s behaviour was aggressive, judgmental, and completely unsuitable for someone in customer service. I hope ASDA seriously investigates this incident.
Delivery due from this store 1330-1430. After no contact I called at 1600 to be told by a call centre operative that the van broke down (I just saw it drive past and again after this phone call). Order rearranged for the following morning 0800-0900. Nothing appeared. Phoned the number again, this time the number didn’t work and it took 20 attempts to get through. I was then told it wasn’t coming with no explanation. I asked for a refund they said this would take 3-5 days. Absolute shambles of a company. Avoid at all costs!
Generally sour looking staff at tills with the odd exception. Post office staff friendly. Check your receipts as when I did recently, I saw something marked as 'voucher'. Got my money back, for 'voucher' but long queue at customer services bit. Can't tell you the number of times the incorrect price is attached to an item on the shelf, generally what you think is a good deal but then realise it's for a slightly alternative item when you get charged the proper price at the till.
Not as large in size as it’s Govan branch. Has all the usual staples plus click and collect drive through area outside
This supermarket sells some household goods .There is also a post office inside and cash machines plus toilets. It's accessible for wheel chairs and has plenty of parking spaces right beside the supermarket.
Normal mid sized Asda. Not too much in the clothing dept tho. You can get Mose of your shopping here at a decent price but I still have to head up to Tesco for some of my vegan items. Close to Greggs and Home Bargains so you can shop for the best deal.
