Staff very friendly and talk to everybody. Always ask how you are and hows your day been stuff like that, and they are helpful....use this shop all the time. Only downside is that it's quite small. Other than that it's a fab wee shop

Kids got sick. I wasn't sure what was up with them. I thought maybe they had the flu as they were vomiting but it a bottle of sprite they had, it was out of date from this shop. Reported it to the council. Disgraceful I have informed the council of this. Check the date if you shop here or do as I am and go elsewhere.
Just parked outside. The only best one that I know is my wife, because she is looking over my shoulder as I write this. Hopefully my dinner won't be burnt.
!!!AVOID!!! If possible use another store. After living in the area for 10 months I have had easily 10+ products from this store which were out of date, this includs grated cheese, sprite, irn bru, milkyways, crisps, ice coffee and mroe just to name a few. First couple off times i was ok with it, mistakes happen, next few times I started to get annoyed but the store gave a valid excuse blaming their whole saler/supplier/cash and carry but each time I said it is your responsibility to check these things. The next couple times my partners purchases were out of date and today finally I had 2 cans of Irn bru I returned, 4 months out of date! Products I have told them about before getting to the check out got removed only to be returned back onto the shelves, the sprite is an example, multiple months out of date. They know what they are doing and probably trying to save money but at the expense of what? You being sick, your kid drinking the whole drink not realizing and you being sick? Its a shame, I liked the owner he was alright but he wouldnt give it to his own kids so why make others suffer? In my opinion a shop serves the community, it should be impacting it and where possible try to improve it but not this one. This might seem a bit long winded and you might think why write so much but after so many chances and being lied to my face I am hoping it warns people or that they see this and fix the issue to make me look like a liar. If you do not believe me please go in the shop look at the drinks, and some of the chocolates check the date, I guarentee you within a month of checking them you will find something out of date and if you do CALL THEM OUT! If it keeps happening it report it to the council, trading standards, Best One(this is a franchise they have a head office in London) and leave a review like this with a photo of the product. The photo I have attached was purchased on the 08/04/2021 and is a can of Irn Bru.
