Rooms were great as there was a separate kitchen you could sit in and view the world go by, while the kids we in the sitting room, which was their bedroom. Bed in main bedroom super comfy. Fantastic location. People at reserve apartments were very helpful.

This property has stolen my damage deposit!!! they lied about us putting 'hair and wipes' down one of their toilets and charged us £180 for it, stay away at all costs. There is a number of reviews on booking.com that talk about faulty plumbing but we had to pay the bill for them to sort it out apparently. When I carried on calling them to get my money back I was told I would be charged an extra £30 for calling their out of hours number. If for some reason you have to stay at the Ardmillan Residence, make sure to take videos of the working toilets before you leave (ridiculous I know) as it will save you about £200

Our arrival was seriously delayed but we were able to keep the team updated by text and they made sure they'd have someone ready to meet us with the keys. When we finally arrived, we were greeted at the door and show us round the place by a lovely young man named Matthew - who also recommended us a fantastic place to eat, so he's made us friends for life! Our apartment was most impressive, stylish and very thoughtfully fitted out to a very high standard. There were plenty of plug sockets available - always important when travelling. Bedrooms were spacious, with comfy beds/bedding and plenty of storage space. The bathroom had a vast bath (comfortably fit two!) and rain shower with a separate head, perfect for hair-washing. Towels were soft and plentiful, and there was quality liquid soap/hand lotion provided. The living room was huge with a fantastic coal-effect gas fire that really beat the chilly December nights. The kitchen was superbly equipped with top notch appliances, not to mention the welcoming bottle of milk, jars of tea/coffee/sugar. The place was very clean, warm and easy to live in (although there's a rather daunting fat folder with instructions for all the appliances, it was really quite easy to figure it all out). Although a basement apartment, with an outdoor area (useful in summer), it didn't feel at all dark or gloomy. And only a 10-15 minute walk from Princes St! We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Reserve Apartments on the basis of our experience. It wasn't particularly a budget option but, as we stayed over the New Year period, it worked out cheaper than many hotels, and, importantly, was a real pleasure to come back to at the end of each day.

We stayed at the Leamington Rd apartment and coil not have been happier. If you have trouble with steps this is not for you but it was perfect for us. Perfect location. Perfect facilities. We had the option to cook at home and after several weeks away that was great. Kitchen was well equipped and spotless. The bathroom was superb. The bed very comfortable. We plan to book this property again when we return to Edinburgh in the future. Thank you so much

Reserve Apartments are very helpful and accommodating. We spent 9 days at McDonald Residence/2 Buchanan Court in Edinburgh. It's a beautifully decorated apartment with very comfortable bedrooms (3), large lounge and well equipped kitchen. Being on the 1st floor is handy! The shared balcony provides a lovely view into the lush green growth across the road. Ideal location below Calton Hill and a short walk to Royal Mile and to Old Town/Princes Street shops etc. Highly recommend Reserve Apartments and McDonald Residence.

Wonderful apartment in a city centre location. Great to be met at the door by David with our keys and given all the information we needed. Rooms were clean and spacious and light. As it is across the road from the train station, bus and tram stops getting around was easy but we preferred to walk as Edinburgh Castle and other attractions were just fifteen minutes away. There are lovely cafes outside to go for breakfast but if you prefer to eat in there are local supermarkets nearby. The apartment has all the facilities you need and is comfortable and a great place to relax at the end of the day, we would recommend it highly. Edinburgh is a fantastic city with lots to see and do, we will definitely return, so thank you to Reserve Apartment's for helping us have a wonderful stay. From Mary & Jay Johnson

We booked the Waterfront View Residence in Leith for a four day weekend. The apartment was easy to find and was even better than described. Everything worked as it should and the central heating kept us warm on a very cold weekend. The views from the apartment were amazing. We never had any problems finding a car park, the bus stop for the bus into Edinburgh is a 5 minute walk from the apartment and for self caterers a 24 hour Asda supermarket is a two minute drive or a 10 minute walk. To get to Edinburgh city centre is ten minute drive or twenty minutes on the bus. We have no complaints from our stay and would stay there again without hesitation.
