Went to see Avatar in 4DX and half way through the film the screen broke. The staff were very apologetic, had to reset the screen and chairs and took about 15 mins to get everything sorted again. I've never had this happen before in the cinema but the staff were trying their best and it was no ones fault. At the end of the film everyone recieved a free cinema voucher while the staff again apologised for the issues. Other than the cinema was very good, the 4DX experience is great and would definitely come again.

Cineworld at Silverburn is my other "home" from home after the gym. It's great to now have an IMAX screen on my doorstep, and the friendly staff are very welcoming, and often we have a chat when the blockbusters are released or if it's a re-release of a classic. A star is deducted due to Cineworld and not the actual branch. I appreciate that not as many people go to the cinema these days, but I feel that movies are only shown for 2 weeks maximum, which doesn't always give me enough time to see the movies I'd like to see. I also feel that when the big blockbusters are released, there should be more staff on, because the last couple of times I felt that they were understaffed to deal with the demand at the tills and the wait for snacks was over 30 minutes, which meant having to miss out on snacks to avoid missing the start of the movie. As a suggestion, I'd maybe have 1 till dedicated to ticket purchases, as some people still prefer to buy tickets directly at the till, and I feel like this slows the process, or maybe at busy times patrons can only purchase tickets from the self help machines, and this can help reduce wait times.

Went to see a sci-fi 3d film at the imax screen - plenty of space in screen 11 and as you'd expect a massive cinema screen the effects were stunning. We did a slight naughty and moved to Row M as we thought the screen was slightly obscured in our original choice of row L. As usual there were loads of adverts about 30mins worth before actual film started. Sound was amazing. Staff were helpful, the free 3D glasses fitted over my own glasses very well. Here come the buts - seats are getting a little tired and as public transport after the screening was limited.

Clean and tide inside, pleasant staff but prices for retail were quite expensive. Comfortable seats in the auditorium.

As usual the cinema is exceptionally clean with friendly staff at all points. Good selection of movies and the movies for junior for only 2.50 is always appreciated. It also has a Starbucks to help keep my eyes open during the kids movie!

Great visit tonight. Elizabeth and Eva were lovely and were very patient while we all decided what we wanted. Screens were very clean and comfy I hope we didnβt leave too much popcorn lying around after us. Definitely be back β€οΈ

Enjoy going to this Cinema Complex at Silverburn. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Have been three times recently due to the number of relatively good films being screened. Prices are reasonable and there has been some discounts for everyone to attract people back to the big screen. Seats are comfortable and plenty of leg space. Looking forward to my next visit.

So itβs a standard cinema experience but comparing this branch of Cineworld to the central Glasgow branch thereβs definitely something to be said for smaller screens. The sound quality is infinitely better in this venue and with audience numbers low it just makes sense to have smaller viewings. The picture and seats for the auditoriums are great. View and comfort levels again are better than Renfrew St. Staff are friendly and food and drinks are (as always) extortionate. Starbucks beside venue is a handy addition. A good cinema, not busy but clean and well run
