Not sure if it's a policy but I was in shop and saw a pair of workboots size 10 that where priced at £15. The date on them was nearly 5 wks off being put on shop floor. I used to manage a few charity shops and always thought we helped one another. The salvation army once rang me and asked if I'd let a homeless person pick a full outfit including shoes. I agreed. I went into your shop and saw the boots which where the size I had been seeking for a person in need who was wearing plastic shoes in this weather his feet where soaking. I just enquired if there was any movement in price and explained why. The answer was a blunt no, I wasn't asking for them free I was prepared to give £10. I don't understand why you would refuse money when the boots where still on the shop shelves after 5 weeks. Just me perhaps but surely the money was better in your till. I walked away as I felt quite embarrassed as the blunt no was enough. I'm only writing this as perhaps you could say it in a much friendlier manner.
