   Watch out open and check your goods are correct before leaving store >>>>>>>> Absolutely Shocking store that sell products that have been returned with wrong goods in . Customer service and attitude of manager is disgusting just like all the other reviews that have said the same about him RUDE …. We bought a controller from smyths thinking they are a trusted supplier of toys and they are clearly not . We spend thousands a year with synths but now they have lost a long loyal customer because i will never buy from here again ! Keep your £40 i will shop elsewhere your loss now not mine !

   Purchased a bike for my 5 year old today. Kian was very helpful with information and had the bike ready for me at the till for when I’d finished shopping. He then noticed I was paying, completed the paperwork for recall info if needed and advised they offer a 3 month free check up. He then helped carry it to my car. Very pleased

   I drove 40 minutes out of my way this morning to go here to return some toys to be told to either fetch them back later in the day or visit another branch because they didn’t have £160 in the till to refund me! They should allow for cash refunds as people are busy and dont have a whole day to be wasted trying to return some toys. Zero help or consideration from the manager with he’s attitude being “go to another store”

   Very disappointing. Took the kids to spend their Christmas and birthday money. Most of the shelves were empty. Barely any lego. I don't know if this is down to getting stock out or maybe there hasn't been any deliveries but we spent hours getting there due to the traffic to find nothing here

   I love our trips to this store. Every time we visit I am so impressed with the customer service. This week I was browsing the push along trike section when a passing member of staff noticed and stopped what he was doing to offer to unlock the trike and take it down from the shelf to show me, without me even asking, everything that could be done to operate it in different ways. I hadn’t intended to buy one, but am now about to purchase. So impressed with the staff, thank you for your help, kindness and patience. My child has a mild form of cerebral palsy which can make shopping trips daunting, awkward and some times very miserable, thank you for making our day better :)

   Compared to many places they have a good selection of Toys , of course you can not find every toy in the world in one place , but here there are lots and lots of Toys. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I can understand why people are frustrated with Smyths not answering every phone call , but staff are busy with serving the walk in customers. Prices aren't that cheap but again not that ex pensive when compared with the online prices.

   I was a bit disappointed in the store - it's literally a pile it high - sell it fast kind of place and not as big as I thought. There is a fair amount of choice in the toys, but not as good as other toy shops I've been too. The narrow aisles and high stacked shelves successfully remove any fun from the shop, and just make me want to quickly look around and get out fast. There are no demo areas or toys to try, which is a shame as toy shops should be fun... Otherwise we may as well shop on-line. The staff are helpful and the shelves are well stacked, but it gets crowded when it's busy and shopping here is a pretty joyless experience... It's literally like going to a supermarket. I doubt we'll come back as it's just far enough to make it not worthwhile - hopefully Smyth's will modernise the store as other shops are far more appealing.
