Forth Boat Tours offers a very good experience and is well suited for families, with children clearly welcome on board. The staff are friendly and attentive throughout the trip, taking the time to engage with passengers and ensure everyone gets the most out of the tour. A real highlight is the effort made by the crew to make sure you see the seals, which adds a lot to the experience. Overall, it is a well-run and enjoyable tour, especially for families.

A fantastic boat trip from South Queensferry! Cruising under the Forth Bridges with great views and entertaining commentary sets the scene, but Inchcolm Island steals the show. The abbey is beautifully preserved, the island peaceful, and there’s even a chance to spot seals. Friendly crew, smooth ride, and plenty of time to explore. Highly recommended for history lovers and nature seekers alike. ❤️❤️

I live in Edinburgh and had never been to Inchcolm island. My daughter and I went today. Trip was very good, with commentary on boat about the history of Inchcolm and the surrounding area. Had about 1 1/2 on the island, luckily the weather was good. Would thoroughly recommend boat trip and Forth Boat Tours.

Arrive early! It says 15 mins but if you want to park your car and get your tickets you need longer for sure... great trip .. well run.. went to incholm island it was excellent... very windy be warned.... no commentary on boat but it's comfy and an enjoyable 45 min journey to the island and 45 mins back.. going under all 3 of the bridges... there is toilets and a cafe on board the boat.. also toilets on the island and a little shop... highly recommend

We choose 3 bridges cruise, is more like cruise around the wee prison/monastery island and then 3 bridges for 15 min, although let's be honest not much to see under these 3 bridges. Loved to trip, choose nice weather for it as in bad weather might not see much. Food and drink available on board.

We wanted to have a day trip somewhere different. We are so glad we picked this trip, The boat is well equipped and buggy friendly, the crew has a vast amount of knowledge about the journey. We stopped off at inchlome and visited the Abbey we had glorious weather and we even got to see puffins. I would definitely recommend this to everyone 5*

One of the best operators for getting you an amazing landscape views of the three famous bridges in Edinburgh. The boat has enough place for people to sit either inside or outside. Refreshments are also available on paid basis. The commentary is in English and gives a nice background. Also if you are lucky then you may see seals on the trip too. Highly recommended experience.

Had an absolutely lovely '3 bridges' cruise with these guys. Friendly & warm reception. Nice boat with facilities & hot drinks. Great story telling along the way. Well worth the time & money.
