   Today I inquired about bike service. I was informed that there's only one technician. It's unclear when he'll be back, but he likely won't repair my bike because I bought it from another shop. I was denied service even though I'm a regular customer. I understand the priority given to bikes purchased from you, but refusing service isn't even legal, is it?

   Purchased a jacket online on Friday, wouldn’t have done so if I realised they used Evri as a carrier. Due to come next working day delivery on Monday, waited through the two hour window and beyond, nothing. Eventually an email to say sorry but it was now estimated Wednesday. Later the tracker revised to say Tuesday. Contacted Go Outdoors, they confirmed Tuesday morning they had spoken to Evri and that delivery would be made today (Tuesday). It is now 18:40 and no delivery and no contact at all from Evri. As I was typing this I received a call from GO to tell me they understand my frustration etc (guy was nice and his fault I know) but after a little back and forth they agreed to contact Evri and cancel the delivery and process my refund after I said I didn’t want the hassle of returning a delivered item no longer needed or wanted. However good Go Outdoors products may be they can’t be taken seriously in their customer service if they continue to use a carrier like Evri. Must do better GO! Will be cancelling my membership card and certainly not buying from them again.

   Great Customer Service in Edinburgh store this morning. I returned a pair of Merrell ladies walking boots that I'd purchased 4 months ago, unfortunately there was a split in the stitching on one of the boots, I'd only worn them 5 times. There was no drama or excuses just a sorry and would you like a refund or exchange. I did a like for like exchange (just chose a different colour) as the boots were very comfortable when out on our hikes. Thanks Edinburgh Go Outdoors

   Looking for hill walking stick. Great knowledgeable guidance from Michael that know the walking stick well. He finds the lightweight walking or tracking sticks from inside their store which has none in their display. Reasonable price with one year warranty from Go Outdoor. Easier than buying from Amazon that I can see and compare.

   Went to the Edinburgh Granton shop for walking boots with no idea what I was looking for. Was assisted by Johnny who gave great advice on everything I needed, very happy with what I purchased based on his recommendations. Great, friendly customer service that I haven’t experienced in the longest time. Will definitely return soon.

   I wish I could add more stars. I was truly blown away today by the service from all the staff in this store. Gavin, Misha & Alex in particular. I really hate shopping, but today was different. They happily helped me find what I was needing and all knew the products inside out. Such a rare thing to have staff who really go out of their way to help you and know their stuff backward. I haven’t had such exceptional service in decades, I thought it was gone forever. Such a pleasure, I’ll definitely be back. Thank you.

   We went into the shop through the exit door, which did not show clearly it was an exit, so we were taught a lesson by a staff. We stood there like students for minutes, and the staff kept teaching us why we should not go to the shop by the wrong door. If there is such an important reason, why let the exit door open from the outside, or why not put a big sign? Second, when we tried to buy shoes, others all asked did they need help from the female staff, but not us. I guess maybe our skin colour was wrong. Except for this, the male staff was professional by bringing the right shoes to me for trying.

   It was the first time I visited Go outdoors and man the variety and quality of stuff that they have is just great! I was assisted by Michael with figuring out which hiking boots I needed to buy and he also taught us a great way to tie our boots differently, or maybe "correctly" :) which honestly made a good deal of difference. Other than that, yeah, works are going on in the area but the staff members are really very helpful; like they went out of their way to get people to help us find our stuff, which was very kind of them :) All in all my friend and I had a fun time and would definitely visit soon! :)
