My daughter goes to the nursery and she is well taken care of. All the staff members are very caring and helpful.
Our daughter has attended Children Garden Nursery since she turned one in March 2025 and ever since day one the staff have been extremely supportive. The baby room manager Esther is fantastic and our daughter talks about her all the time. She’s so friendly and was a star during the settling in period. The rest of the staff are also super friendly. I really appreciate the notes, updates and photos provided via the app and also the detailed feedback at pick up. There are a lot of fun activities each week and themed events throughout the year. The garden is lovely.
Lovely nursery with a beautiful garden. My niece is always excited to go to school! Fun activities, healthy food and of course the outdoor garden is a bonus. Only downside is the proximity to the airport so there's noise from the airplanes taking off, but the children love seeing it!
Our daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 9 months old, and now at age 3, she absolutely loves it. The staff are incredibly caring, professional, and inclusive, creating a safe and supportive environment where every child is valued. We've seen her grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity thanks to the engaging activities and thoughtful care. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend this nursery to other families!
Cannot fault this nursery, they really support and nurture the child and you can see the staff are very passionate about what they do which is reassuring as a parent!
My 18 month old daughter started to go to this nursery from Jan 2022. I was initially put off by the poor reviews here, but after getting positive feedback from friends about the new management, we decided to try it out. The nursery is located within the University of East London campus and the waterside walk to the nursery is beautiful. The nursery is also a stone's throw away from Cyprus station, making drop off's and pickup's convenient, if one is going to work by train. My daughter has been at the nursery for a month now and she absolutely loves it. She is very happy to see her carer's every morning and is very cheerful on her way back home from the nursery. I can see the activities, meals, outdoor play and company of the other children at the nursery are positively contributing to her development. The nursery manager Ramona is very approachable and has been a force for good and has brought positive changes to the nursery. She and her staff are all very friendly and receptive to suggestions/ concerns. My daughter especially is very fond of her primary carers Sue and Stacey, who look after her well and provide us a daily update on her activities. The nursery has an app which provides live updates on sleep, nappy changes, meals etc and also shares photos and progress reports, which we find very helpful. I am very happy with the nursery so far and would highly recommend it.
My son started going to this nursery around 8 months ago and he enjoys playing with his teachers and with the other children. The garden outside is a great space for the kids to play and that helped my son to develop his motor skills. The management and the teachers are always helpful and responsive when we have any requests or worries. The meals provided are well balanced. They give real time updates through the app, which we find very helpful.
My daughter started going into this nursery (baby room) a few months ago straight after all the changes happened. Previous reviews are all highlighting the unprofessional nursery manager however that is the past since the new manager Elisabeth started. Ever since I cannot complain about anything, I can see that my child is in good, professional hands. Communication is great through the application, I'm fully aware what activities they do each week and also I'm getting updates accurately throughout the day about meals etc. I can only recommend this nursery!
I went to visit this nursery twice, two different times of the year. Both times I didn't get a good vibe. Management come across rude especially the Nursery Manager Lubna. She is disorganised! She told me over the phone there were spaces and so I booked a viewing. I turned up and she denied booking the viewing and then makes her deputy show me around. Then her deputy tells me that there are no spaces and they would put me on waiting list. So complete waste of time! The actual nursery nurses seemed friendly but I personally did not like Lubna's unprofessional attitude and wouldn't leave my child in a nursery under her management. Also on one of my visits I witnessed Lubna being extremely rude to a mum enquiring about prices/spaces.
Some members of staff are extremelly rude! They would lie until the end to cover their backs. They would give you incident forms saying your child has had an injury but wont give you a copy until you ask the manager to sign and to give you a copy. I had to take pictures to show her. Manager and deputy manager also extremelly defensive if you express any concerns. Nappies and wipes kept disappearing. A member of staff told me only end of the day that he had had diarrhoea throughout the day. My 27 month old son complained of a member of staff hitting him with a toy and slapping him. This nursery is a an absolute disgrace!!!!!
