this small family run hotel is outstanding in it service staff are so welcoming the food is fantastic the room are comfy and very clean i can confidently recomen a great stay thank you so much for a great stay hope to return soon 5 stars from me
Only in for food as a party of 10. Staff were good and suitably attentive considering how busy the place was. I had the pork carvery which drives the 3*s. Pork was very dry and left some of it, I wasn't the only one. Roast potatoes were probably the worst restaurant roasties I've had in a long time, dry, hard and slightly chewy texture not crisp or fluffy at all. A bit disappointing. Yorkshires were very nice, visually a bit on the burnt side but looked intentional and wasn't bitter at all.
I can fault this hotel for the money and what we wanted it for. It was clean, decent beds, decent shower, nice friendly staff, free parking and breakfast was good. Are there better places, sure, but it was great value at short notice and served our purpose perfectly.
Good food in a very busy restaurant, service a little slow but understandable due to busyness. Only negative is a very complicated booking system, where you note your bank details. However, they forgot to mark our party as arrived for dinner & charged my bank account a ‘no-show fee’. They did return the fee when they realised but just shows their booking system does not work! I will return again as we all love the Coachman, but will be more aware of booking issues.
Had a lovely dinner here recently. I had the Salt & Chilli burger and would definitely recommend. Portion sizes are on the large size, service was good and the decor was very nice!
The food was delicious. The service was very friendly. Would definitely come back. Even an outdoor area in warmer weather. Good menu, nice layout. Drove passed for years. ( Falkirk to Bishopbriggs) Would book a table very busy, good amount of staff for the number of customers.
Very busy place. We were lucky and with no booking were seated in 10 minutes. Food was good, service a tad slow, but it was very busy so understandable. I would definitely go back!
Food fantastic...loved portion size and quality of grub...Good price. Staff great. Worth a visit...Will be back soon.
