I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-designed, with thoughtful details that made it feel welcoming. The staff were genuinely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The location was ideal — close to everything, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with plenty of options. Overall, a truly enjoyable experience and I’d happily return.
Was here for a family celebration for a group of around 20. Kitchen and serving staff are at the top of their game. Beautiful setting and surrounding gardens. Everyone had a great time thanks to the staff here. Will definitely consider booking here for another event in future.
We have stayed at the Glazert a few times and always found the staff helpful, friendly and cheerful. So when we were planning our wedding, after being engaged for 25 years it was natural for us put it near top of the list of chosen venues and we were not disappointed. Yesterday we had the wedding of our dreams with most of our family including some who travelled from Winchester and friends from Devon and Cornwall. What a wonderful day despite the inclement weather. Everyone enjoyed themselves and many commented it was one of the best weddings they had attended. Thank you Paul and Debbie and your wonderful staff for making our special day go without a hitch.
A nice hotel tucked away from the main road. We were greeted by the manager Julia, who was very helpful in getting us checked in. The rooms are very spacious, modern, and comfortable. The room hosts a spacious bathroom with a spa hot tub with a tv, which was a great feature. The room also has satellite television, which is a feature. The room was really warm when we arrived. we tried turning heating off, which didn't work but went to reception and got it sorted. The room was great. However, it did lack a small minifridge considering its size and space and some tlc. The restaurant was amazingly good, and the food and service was top notch. The food tasted good, with great portions and value for money. The staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs and also well organised. We couldn't thank Julia enough for her help. Thanks.
We had a lovely afternoon at the Hotel to celebrate my mum and dad's 60th wedding anniversary in their function suite. The food was delicious and service very efficient and attentive. Many thanks for making this special occasion very memorable.
Love this hotel for lunch/dinner. Staff are exceptional. Surroundings are comfortable with log fire. So cosy. Friendly atmosphere and great food very reasonable prices too. Not to be missed!
Nice Scottish Hotel. Enjoyed meals and drinks there over the last few years and the standard has not slipped. My son had his wedding reception there and it was a lovely place to celebrate this special day; setting, meal, drinks and staff we could not fault. Have not stayed in hotel although our family have and they are returners. Very comfortable.
Attended private function. Staff courteous, efficient and attentive. Choice on menu excellent! Quality of food excellent. Venue excellent for private function. Only one concern stairs leading from toilets through double doors definitely a hazard. Need a risk assessment steps down steep and treads narrow. One of the members fell, definitely needs reviewing otherwise you would have got 5 stars.
