My sister is a member, and a perk of the membership - that I take advantage of. Is the swim and Jacuzzi for free. It's always a pleasure visiting, so clean, tidy, welcoming staff. Great food too - another perk is a discount in the bar for food.

A costly visit. I enjoyed the spa, though some things were not working (the sauna upstairs was tepid and the steam room out of order) The treatments we had were very nice and afternoon tea was very filling and tasty, service was excellent and everyone was extremely helpful. The staff really shone for me on this visit. In previous visits I haven't found them to be so helpful and friendly, so this was a very welcome change. I did find the day more costly than I thought it was going to be. That is the price of a luxury day I suppose. I had been bought a voucher and thought it would cover everything only to find I had to pay out more on top when I got there. It was a welcome relaxing day with a friend however. So I will take that and she had a lovely time. Which is what matters.

Spent the weekend in a lodge for my daughters wedding. Everything from staff to accommodation was superb. Andrew & Michael made it a memorable night for the girls and can't thank them enough. I will definitely be back to thank them all for a great weekend.

Absolutely awful! If you want to come smoke illegal substances, this is the place to go! Also when you book make sure there isn’t a wedding on! We stayed here and came back to our room, the hallway was full of smoke and the stench of cannabis was disgusting. There was a red light flashing in the hallway which was apparently ignored. I complained to reception and they told us that they can’t do anything as they can’t ask guests what they are doing in their room… these guests were drunk and smoking, it was a fire waiting to happen! Eventually after multiple complaining, they asked the guest to stop and to combat the smell and smoke they opened the fire doors and provided a fan to blow the smoke down to the open door. They didn’t care that we had young children and offered us nothing but a fan and an open fire door. The rooms are filthy and outdated, and the walls are paper thin. The guest next door was so inebriated he had to be carried to his room, he was arguing with his partner, swearing, shouting slamming doors etc, we asked them to keep the noise down at 12am which only made them worse and again reception did absolutely nothing. This went on till about 5am! Then the facilities…. Well they shut the pool as someone had an accident in the pool, which is fine accidents happen, but the regulars made it very clear that they don’t like visitors using their facilities and made you incredibly unwelcome. Food was okay, not worth the 5star prices though and the breakfast buffet was incredibly limited. Would not recommend at all! The bowfield used to be great, but now it’s went downhill so fast!

The best service I have received ever from a hotel. The reception staff were very helpful, explained all facilities. Would go above and beyond. Highly recommended this hotel to anyone wanting a spa getaway as the Aura Spa is out of this world. Helen at reception went above and beyond to make your spa experience out of this world. My partner had the hero package and said it's worth every penny, Chen her masseuse got every knot out and relaxed her to point of sleeping. Rosie my masseuse, gave me a deep tissue massage and she has magic hands. Definitely a must if you stay at hotel.

We booked a Spa Package and the service was top class. Good, clean facilities and very pleasant staff. The spa team were very helpful and friendly. The afternoon tea had a good variety and the staff were also very quick to serve us our food. A big shoutout to Ava ( who was amazing and very very friendly - I very much enjoyed the polish, massage and express facial. Looking forward to returning !

Went for Saturday lunch. Restaurant was busy but as we hadn't booked, staff were good to find us a table in the bar area. Enjoyed my steak pie. My companion really enjoyed his Vegetable Katsu with Basmati rice. Lightly battered cauliflower was excellent! Good atmosphere with staff that looked like they enjoyed their work

Attended for a family wedding and when we drove into the car park we commented on how beautiful the hotel was, walked through the entrance and WoW..... Hotel is absolutely beautifully presented, staff are excellent, bedroom was so comfortable, food was delicious, wedding was excellent from start to finish and the hotel really worked their socks off for the Bride/Groom and Guest's. Highly recommended and thank you to the Bowfield staff for making our stay really enjoyable x

Visited in August 2022. The hotel facilities are exceptional & located in idyllic countryside surroundings. Our room for the night was very well presented, clean & spacious. The spa treatment rooms are well equipped, modern and spacious. Spa staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive at all times. Additionally, we had breakfast and an evening meal in the restaurant, both the food and service were tremendous. I would highly recommend the restaurant and spa facilities, all of the resort staff were all so welcoming and helpful. We will definitely visit again.
