What a joke of a place! NOT dog friendly! There were more dogs than people in Balloch! Then they had a private party and when you look inside noones there! Go to Dog House instead!
Was part of our annual bowls Tour weekend. We were travelling back from Oban to East field BC in Dumbarton. Stopped here for lunch and a few drinks. The hospitality was excellent, food most enjoyable washed down with a good variety of drinks. A first class choice from our organiser.
A super cute inn right on the main drag of Balloch. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Check in staff were nice. We hung out in the lounge at night and chatted with some locals and the bartender, very kind folks all around! We were just in for the one day, but I'd have been happy to stay longer!
Perfect location on the edge of the loch Lovely rooms Bar great and staff friendly Didn't eat here as food isn't served mondays and Tuesdays Breakfast wasn't until 930 which was too late for us.
We visited balloch this morning as it was a lovely day. We walked round the waterfront, visited the country park castle and then looked for somewhere for lunch. We looked at a few places but the Waterside Inn looked the most friendliest and welcoming. We stopped for lunch, I had the macaroni and my husband had the chicken burger. The food was delicious and I would definitely eat here again! We even got a cheeky wee discount on our drinks. 10/10
Breakfast was delicious. It totally different from the USA .some new items on my dish that never had try was I think flower tortilla I think it was square and dark round it tasted like vegan.still good.
I didn't stay, I only had the steak pie and tea but good food and friendly staff.
Had breakfast lovely. Staff attentive and friendly. Spotless inside. Went back for a beer later.
Great place to pause and have lunch. Lovely food and staff. Could've easily spent longer in the relaxed environment. Perfect. Will return for sure.
Absolutely loved my weekend away here. Spotlessly clean, great location.Staff all helpful and friendly. Food was lovely and the Pub downstairs had a great atmosphere and selection of drinks. Definitely be back soon
