Dirty, old, disgusting. Water dripping from ceiling, when someone is showering in upper floor. Very poor organisation. You need to be lucky to get into your room... Don't go!
Originally we have booked for 3 nights. Unfortunately we were unable to travel due to self isolate, the owner or who? (phone number not working at all) has been refused to refund at least half of the payment, or change the date at least. I personally don't suggest that Hotel. Very poor customer service.
Ok so on arrival, a little concerned where it was, but dont worry, inside it's all very well decorated and clean and great place to stay with lots of extra feature it's up there with most standard hotel rooms. We happy hoist was very helpful and chatty too. Would defo recommend and come back.
Unfaultable - great value for the money even. The house and room are just as pleasant inside as the pictures suggest. Everything was clean and well maintained with the heater already on in our room. The room is spacious and has a comfy bed, a relatively large fridge; good complimentary tea, cereal and milk. Other amenities like wifi and the bathroom were all great - hot water works fine and the shower is large and has a good showerhead. You do have to collect the key from the adjacent restaurant, but it's very easy and the staff are kind and welcoming. Checked in quite late on a Sunday and they were still there and ready to help.
Avoid this place, it’s a trap! See pictures and stay away from this place. We left after 2 minutes because the room smelt of fat & was dirty as hell. Totally run-down place: bed linen was not replaced, had stains, floor was not hoovered and showed multiple stains. The room was located above a Kebab Takeaway. The fat exhaust chimney of that Takeaway is located at the entrance of the premise. Therefore the entire place smelt of fat so that it was impossible to breath. The bathroom was totally outdated, walls broken and worse than ‘basic’. The owner refused to refund the prepayment and will now face legal action.
Reasonably priced, friendly staff and other guests, Nice room, comfy bed, excellent view of the park from the room window, and reasonable walking distance from loch lomond, would recommend
